Sorry. You were voted out. But the good news?

You made the Jury!!

That's still quite the accomplishment-- You have a very important role in this game still:
You will help decide who ultimately wins the game!

You and your fellow zombie jurors may use this thread to deliberate and discuss the game from the comfort of your plush Ponderosa cabanas.

Towards the end of the game, all jurors will haven chance to address each of the final 3 players with a question or statement. You may write it now or write it later. That is your chance to determine what you need to know in the game from the final 3 players that will help you decide who to vote for as the Sole Survivor of Survivor Mafia.

When you ultimately vote for the Winner, you will PM me who you want to win. I'll go over this as we get closer as well.

Let me know if you have any questions! In the meantime, have fun eating whatever you want and drinking to your heart's desire!

Added to Ponderosa:
1. notsawyer540 (Voted out 7th)
2. Epignosis (Voted out 8th)
3. insertnamehere (Voted out 9th)
4. speedchuck (Voted out 10th)
5. DFaraday (Voted out 11th)
6. S~V~S (Voted out 12th)
7. Golden (Voted out 13th)
8. Elohcin (Voted out 14th)
9. LoRab (Voted out 15th)
So as we get closer to the end, keep tucked away in your mind potential questions you would like for each remaining player, should they end up going to the final tribal.

You aren't required to ask or say anything specifically, but I will ask that you keep your comments self-contained- meaning, no rambling or asking multiple tangential questions. Once Final Tribal Council comes (Which will immediately follow Night 13, on Thursday, March 30th), you will be designated to post in the main thread your statement/question/appeal to the rest of the jury for each finalist, either in the same post or in 3 separate posts. They may respond to it, but you may not follow up.

You can win the game of Ponderosa if you wish!

Can I grab you anything? Towels? A face mask to help you sleep? Some peanut butter?

What a riveting tribal period this is.

At this point, all the talk is going on in the BTSC chat, so I guess it will be a surprise for both you and your incoming peer in the jury, sawyer

Yeah, I was thinking earlier that it's gonna be hard to choose a winner when there's so much going on I can't see.

Yeah, this was something I thought about. As people come into Ponderosa, they can fill you in on what they experienced. Otherwise what you see is what you get.

You can use the information or the lack thereof to directly ask the final players questions you would like more clarity about, and what choices they made in the game. Or just tell them off. It's up to you

Also welcome Epignosis to Ponderosa!

The greatest thing about LMS games is that I can enter them knowing I have no chance at ever winning them.

My strategy in this would have been to pick little words because people would have assumed they'd be ruled out.

Plus there are unscrambling services online anyone can use to find the big words.

That is exactly what happened for the high scorers.

I'm confident that some people used unscramblers, because several people found the long obscure words in nearly identical lists.

There is such a lack of involvement in the thread. There's a reason the votes were so spread in the last tribal council. Who do you all think is leading the tribe? Because most people don't seem to know.

I think there's a 3-person alliance somewhere in there. I know LC, myself, and Quin were in the process of forming one. Could be 4 people, but that's too many for endgame. I don't think that any one person wants to step up in the thread for fear of garnering votes.

Granted I can't see who votes for whom, so I have no idea who could be in the alliance if it exists.

You can speculate the questions to ask at the end and people that come in can fill you in

I'm too lazy to do it right now, but a good way for us jury members to root out an alliance would be to tally up who has claimed to be putting in for BTSC for whom and see if there are any repeats or overlaps.

Free BTSC is the problem. Make people talk in the thread and you have a show.

I thought getting BTSC with someone was a treat but when 99% of conversation is deciding who is talking to whom...zzzzzzzzzzz. My role ability was purposeless really.

Yes, that's understandable. But you also didn't request BTSC in the early goings. I've actually had people get peeved they don't have enough BTSC. :shrug2: So you can't win em all.

I'm not sure imposing, say, a minimum post count in thread is going to get discussion going either.

As for your role, it was more based in vote manipulation, which can be very powerful.

BTSC early when everybody can get it is useless. If I were you, I would have had no BTSC whatsoever except maybe one one-time special ability.

BTSC is- forgive me for saying so- pointless in a Last Man Standing situation. People complaining about not enough BTSC are being silly. You're either getting voted out or you aren't.

Hey guys!

Golden has been leading the tribe, and maybe I seeded some doubt, but I don't think I broke that hold.

*stares at screen* I never even thought of doing that. And here I spent an hour finding 66 words in the boggle puzzle.

speedchuck wrote:Do we give the same question to all three, or a different question?
So you may ask all of them a unique question, ask all of them the same question, ask one or two them a question, or just send them a statement. The rules are very loose here. Basically, your focus is to either get clarification to help your decision easier, or it can also be a statement to influence other jurors, or it can simply be "I don't like how you played the game, and I'm going to vote for the other person"

So y'all can bounce off ideas here or share information with each other on plays people may have made in the game that distinguish themselves.

The winner of Survivor: Mafia will be named by you all, so it's really up to you who you think is worthy.

Poor Quin I project a maƱana final 3 possibly even 5. I think I was intentionally being excluded from BTS.

Also what happened is that they decided in advance who was next and that was that. They told you in chatrooms and you got blown off if you disagreed. So I rebelled and you see how that worked out. We would have been better off with the guy with the bat tbh. Lynching Faraday was stupid and someone needed to take the blame for it imo, but I guess not.

So sorry people who died since the merge.

I will enjoy watching them turn on each other. Opt doesn't seem very comfortable with conflict.

For the record, I told people in BTSC in advance that I wasn't going to vote for you unless out of self-preservation. That was a decision I made before this even started.

Thank you :) Like I said, I don't think it mattered. They had the whole thing worked out in advance.

Yeah, I think they are gonna take out Sorsha and Quin, they might drop Eloh before Quin, but final 3 will be golden, opt, lorab, imo.

When do we start voting? Final two or three? Becasue if they get rid of Quin, I think LoRab should win. Golden is so besotted with Opt, he threw his primary alliance under the bus, and I think LoRab has played them all. If Quin makes it to the final three, I think he should win since Opt seems to be blaming the DH thing on me, but it was all Quins idea. I jumped into the thread after the fact about it to protect Quin, who was in more danger at that time than I was, and focus their attention on me.

Also I have to look at those question videos.

Also do we only judge based on treachery etc., or can the criteria vary?

That doesn't jive at all with any interaction I've had with either of them.

Opt hasn't made a single game-based move, IMO.

He's Golden's goat, and is going to get dragged to the end.

Lorab has made big moves, but for idiotic reasons. She's needlessly angered people when she didn't have to. With me, with Speed, and with Faraday.

You can vote for the winner on whatever basis you choose, SVS, but I'm voting for who I think played the best game. Not "who do I like," or "who didn't screw me over," but who played the best objective game. So far, Golden is by far the frontrunner.

Also, if Lorab and company didn't vote me out D7, and me and Speedchuck approached you + Quin about taking out Golden D8, would you have been open to that?

Golden really likes her alot and he told people he wants her to win. I was one of them. Sorsha told me he said that as well.

He wants her to stay around and play Mafia, maybe he thinks if she wins she will.

And I would not have turned on Golden, silly fool that I am, lol. At that stage I had no idea how treacherous he actually was.
