OK, that's fine, but that means there's no point you doing another leg, because Boomslang has to participate.

Well, we could use Opt Outside for shooting, inh, and use you in leg 4? She's already given instructions to shoot 5 heavy balls... we could use this now?

Scotty, can we get some clarity on that? And what it means to toss 'some' or 'all' balls?
If you are shooting balls, you may select any variation of ball size with each shot.

Once you have determined you are performing in leg 2, you may start shooting balls immediately. You can either shoot several balls at once, or take turns shooting with other players until I can get back to you. Shooting multiple balls at once, like Opt-Outside is proposing, means that I will calculate all of her shots in a row, and record the result.

If you are performing in leg 4, you must all agree in thread on which option you will take.

Does that make sense?

I've noted that Wilgy is doing leg 1, Opt is doing leg 2, DH is doing leg 3, and Golden is doing leg 4. To differentiate a proposition versus a decision, I ask that those either calling a number for untying, shooting balls or choosing an option in leg 4 BOLD their final decision. As of right now, Opt is proposing to shoot 5 heavy balls at once, so I will wait for a decision on that.
Okay! So I think instead of deciding how many of each I'll shoot ahead of time, I'll shoot one ball at a time and wait for the results. That will influence which balls we should all shoot next. So I'll start right now

I'm starting leg 2 and throwing one heavy ball to start

@speedchuck, if you can move your vote, shelter might be the place? I can only guess based on what I would do, but I'd be making the shelter build cost x energy, split evenly amongst all participants, so the more hands, perhaps the better for everyone?

Whoops I TOTALLY missed page two so I just read everything I missed after I posted my shot. Okay so it looks like I'm still good to do leg 2? Unclear on who else is shooting balls with me but I just confirmed a shot with a heavy ball so I'll wait for the results and then let's all keep shooting. Sounds like we need 6 more points (before the result of my shot) and I'm willing to shoot up to four more heavy balls depending on the results of my shot and everyone else's.

No. He must decide himself or I will defacto put him in a leg if it isn't already finished. Because of the current circumstances, if DH wants to participate in another leg, he may. And as soon as we are filled up on Leg 4 with 4 willing participants, if another player has not participated, they must sit out. Normally I would want full participation, so call this an outlier.

OK, but I assume he has until the end of the day to check in? The challenge isn't won or lost based on when he checks in?

DH could hold off on losing his energy to this leg, it doesn't seem fair he should lose energy just because Boom doesn't check in.

No need. We just need Boomslang to check in and inh to join us and we can do leg 4. It's clear from leg 3 that we don't need to do them in order.

Scotty, how much time was used on the puzzle? Was the time the 3 minutes for failing plus my actual solve time?

I feel like I did it quite quickly so it's possible the other side was slower.

I currently have 2 people signed up for Leg 4. As of right now, only INH and Boomslang may participate in this leg. All 4 people will be doing the same options. If I don't get confirmation, I'm going to go with majority and will slot in both INH and Boom.

Arrrrrgh, of course this is the kind of thing that blows up with massively complex interaction on the day my parents are here in the morning and I have a massive friggin' deadline at work in the afternoon. I'm here, trying to read and understand.

From what I can tell, I'm only able to do things on Leg 4? So I sign up for that, and I'll use willpower to support INH?

Jeff, I'm shooting another heavy ball into that basket.

And I'm going to make it again. I can feel it!

Also, I'm in agreement with the thoughts on the poll options. Fishing will be inefficient until we get gear, and I'm willing to be confident on our team's chances to win fire. So I'll contribute to the shelter building.

We need three more baskets and Opt and Lorab are in the process of shooting.

Jeff I will go for another heavy ball and hope we all get it in to finish this part of the challenge.

Yep, that's what you need to do. You need to bold it to be clear though.

Hopefully these balls all fall but if not you should consider moving to different balls to conserve energy.

I'll shoot one more heavy ball right now

And then hopefully the other two shooting will be able to get the last two shots in?
1 Shot made!

Great work on the hoops shooting, ladies.

We also have all four people doing willpower on leg 4 so that should be everything done.
