Re: Mass Effect Mafia: an HCR & Syndicate crossover

I know nothing about Mass Effect, I hope that will be ok.
Murder, Mayhem, and Mafia

That's quite alright. The setup will be such that it shouldn't matter. Speaking of that:Long Con wrote:I know nothing about Mass Effect, I hope that will be ok.
Intriguing! That'll be neat.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:That's quite alright. The setup will be such that it shouldn't matter. Speaking of that:Long Con wrote:I know nothing about Mass Effect, I hope that will be ok.
This will be a semi-open setup, merging the visibility of traditional Syndicate games with the claim-friendly environment of HCR games. By "semi-open", I mean there will be more roles listed than players participating -- you'll know what roles can be in the game, but not what roles are in the game.
Yeah, I'm a YUGE believer in roleplaying in mafia games, which really got me into them in the first place. (Don't believe me, just look at my posts when I was Blasto in HCRealms mafia game...)MovingPictures07 wrote:Intriguing! That'll be neat.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:That's quite alright. OK, but since I don't know Mass Effect, I'll just be a half-elven fighter-mage.malakim2099 wrote:Yeah, I'm a YUGE believer in roleplaying in mafia games, which really got me into them in the first place. So we figured this could allow people to have some fun with things.
Sorry, we're Bioware, we don't believe in half-elves. But you can be an elf arcane warrior.Long Con wrote:OK, but since I don't know Mass Effect, I'll just be a half-elven fighter-mage.malakim2099 wrote:Yeah, I'm a YUGE believer in roleplaying in mafia games, which really got me into them in the first place. Dude. Asari are definitely the elves.Fredwood wrote:Salarians the elves?...don't say the Asari are Elves.
We all know who the bad ass Orcs are though.
Excited exclamation: yasSloonei wrote:All players in this game will actually be either elcor or hanar. Roleplay is required.

I know I was just wishing they weren't, I actually like Elves.malakim2099 wrote:Dude. Asari are definitely the elves.Fredwood wrote:Salarians the elves?...don't say the Asari are Elves.

All other races think they're hawt - check
This one actually won HCRealms Mass Effect mafia as Blasto.Sloonei wrote:All players in this game will actually be either elcor or hanar. Roleplay is required.
No rush, it probably won't start immediately. We're well on course with the setup, but not 100%.MovingPictures07 wrote:3 more let's go
We occasionally have Heists where all players are given alternate accounts (we call them socks/sockpuppets) to post fully in character as whatever their sock is. Usually MP hosts these games, he's been working through a series of sitcom themed games and they're always a lot of fun and full of flavor. If you enjoy roleplaying I would highly recommending checking one of these games out if a theme ever piques your interest.malakim2099 wrote:This one actually won HCRealms Mass Effect mafia as Blasto.Sloonei wrote:All players in this game will actually be either elcor or hanar. This one also posted (mostly) in character the entire game as a self-imposed post restriction.
Roleplaying mafia. Futurama is my personal favorite so far, if that wasn't apparent from my banners.
Yeah, I'll be out of town this weekend, so I don't think we'd start until Monday anyway.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:No rush, it probably won't start immediately. We're well on course with the setup, but not 100%.MovingPictures07 wrote:3 more let's go

I am in. I'll need to start reviewing the tapes and decide on a character though.MovingPictures07 wrote:I love hosting these games too. Sounds good to me! Reminds me of that other crossover game where I played as an RYM player.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:I'll put you down as an extra in case there's a need to open up the sign-ups on that side.Marmot wrote:Count me in as an alternate, since it looks like the Syndicate group is full.
