STAGE 2

"IT IS FINISHED!" roared THE GAME. Its voice echoed through the simulation room and shook the Island within the simulation.

The dead arose and everyone felt their feet drift up away from the ground. The beach, the palm trees, and even the sunshine rippled and swirled around them. When their surroundings stopped changing, they found themselves in a room overlooking a large airplane hanger. It was filled with a literal labyrinth of crates stacked 15 feet high.

"What's this?" one of the recruits asked.

"OH THIS?" THE GAME chortled, "CONSIDER THIS A PREVIEW OF FATE OF COMMANDER REGULUS AND HIS CREW."

"Who?" someone else asked.

"NEVER MIND. WELCOME TO STAGE 2. ONCE YOU ARE ALL RELEASED INTO THE MAZE BELOW, DEATH WILL REMOVE YOU FROM THE SIMULATION. WHEN YOU ARE LYNCHED, YOU WILL BE BROUGHT BACK UP HERE TO SEE YOUR TEAMMATES AND ENEMIES CONTINUE ON TO THE END. YOU ALL RETAIN YOUR NEURAL LINKS, SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM FROM UP HERE AS WELL.

"IT'S WINNER TAKE ALL NOW. I LOOK FORWARD TO DEALING WITH BOTH THE WINNERS AND THE LOSERS. HA-HA! HA! HA!"

With that, the floor dropped out from under them and they fell into the final stage of this madness.

Why would you pick me to Lynch on the first day of phase 2? I have done the best I can do in this game given my situation and now you want to kick me out first? What about people who are not participating at all? Why not give me a chance to at least play some of this stage?

As an alternative to a low poster, I'd also lynch LC's killer for messing with the plan. Or a random number generator for the same reason.
