5 townies individually had more posts than the cumulative scum post count. That's a beautiful thing. And we managed to pick out the right names from the relatively light information available. This was a very sound town win.

Edit: More than half the posts in this game came from RYM. :o

That's a good idea! I personally haven't watched the show in full, so that's why I didn't include it to begin with. I also don't want to take all the themes from everyone, so my initial pool of 6 seemed plenty expansive. However, I'm 100% open to suggestions for either dropping unpopular themes in my current agenda or adopting popular suggestions.

I would absolutely have included The Office and The Simpsons, but I excluded the former because Dom hosted that as a Job previously (but without roleplaying) and the latter because I've been informed for a while now that a massive undertaking was in the works ([mention]Epignosis[/mention], just so I can atmention you again). :p

I may add either or both of those though, since a Heist would be a completely different beast than to Dom's game and Epi's game (assuming he still wants to host it and assuming it won't include roleplay).

Other than those, I'm definitely open to other suggestions too. Please let me know what you all think!

I also considered Community and Rick & Morty, but I know you Mr. Sloonbeard are handling the former as a Side Mission and I'm already handling the latter as a Side Mission as well myself. I'm sure there are tons of awesome sitcom themes I haven't even considered. Throw suggestions at me!

Yes, do it! Seriously, do it ASAP, anyone can submit games to the queue whenever. I certainly don't have a monopoly on this idea if you all want to dip into the TV sitcom pool. I really would love to play some of these myself.

Pretty straightforward! Depends a little bit on the type of game you want to run.

Basically, you just need to post your game idea or outline in the The Drawing Board subforum and include the type of game you want to run in your title (i.e., [FULL GAME], [HEIST], whatever). Then PM any or all of the admins that you want to be added to the queue, and one of us will add you!

Side Missions [speed games] and Heists [classic games] are run in order of submission and we just go down the queue, unless people need to switch or be skipped on a case-by-case basis.

Jobs [full games] are a bit different; we run a poll every so often, ask for a few submissions from people, and then it's first come first serve to run through those until we run out and then have a new poll.

Burglaries [turbo/pick-up games] are much more impromptu since they take place in a day or less. Those you can just post in the thread or PM any of us when you want to host one.

Here are the hosting threads for each game type for reference:
Jobs
Side Missions
Heists
Burglaries
The respective game type queues are listed in each one of those threads.

!!

How have I not talked about this yet?

All three roles (Sloonei as the cop, Epignosis as the tracker, and LC as the mafia killer) with actions targeted Daisy/Kramer on N1. I couldn't believe it. :haha:

I honestly thought things looked relatively bad for the town after that, since both the power roles were 2-shot only. That changed quickly though when Epignosis/Elaine nabbed Jackie/LC with his tracker check on N2, which was the best possible target IMO because LC was doing a really good job securing town reads at the beginning of the game.

No problem. :D

That'd be awesome, I'd be up for a dunya-hosted game.

That reminds me; we really should try to get another burglary into sign-ups soon anyway. The last one hosted by DDL was an absolute blast. Crazy different from other games since it's over in a few hours, but still a ton of fun.

Honestly, you could start sign-ups whenever you're ready, even now, and then based on the interest level and what date(s) work for you and prospective players, we can collectively hammer out a date. That's what we did last time with DDL's I believe; he started sign-ups, and after a couple of failed attempts because we couldn't get enough players for specific dates, it ran smoothly once we could get enough people to agree on a date.

Let me know your thoughts; I can get you ready with Burglary hosting permissions whenever.

This is a good question, but let's talk about this one post-game. I don't want to answer it now because even though I know my answer and I stand by it, I feel like regardless of my answer, just providing one will unduly influence the game, and I shouldn't be influencing the game. This is player v. player after all, not player v. host.

Oh yes! I forgot about it, thanks for bringing it up.

The short answer: Usually no, with exceptional circumstances potentially granted an exception.

The long answer: I think it's best to avoid these kinds of situations, so I would say it's ideal to never allow it as a host. However, there are obviously circumstances that are exceptional, like a player needing to be gone during the entire phase and having little to no internet access. If the player approaches me beforehand and informs me of this limitation, I'd be hard-pressed to still say no, so I'd probably accept it.

It didn't happen in this game; nijuu did manage to send me her action during the Night phase.

Yes, I still have The Simpsons Mafia in my pocket, and yes, it's huge, and yes, it's a sock puppet game (because there are so many damn characters). I've put off doing anything with it because we've had a backlog for so long.

The vigilante fake claim was probably the first clue. I'd expect you to toy with that kind of maneuver in this setup after the recent heists. Your use of "boneheaded" to describe the Soup Nazi kill sealed it.
