The Syndicate

Original setup created by kilozombie, Gun16Boy and Rabbac from the Pokemon Showdown Mafia channel.

Here is the deal: one random player will receive a gun.

Once they receive it, they have 6 minutes to shoot someone (must wait at least 1 minute before shooting). After they shoot, they have 5 minutes to give it to a player. Rinse and repeat until either town or mafia is wiped out. Both actions must be publicy announced by the player in the thread.

No lynches. No night phases. Only the gun.

Also because guns are hard to use, shots have 30% chance of missing when aimed at non-baddies, and 50% chance of missing when aimed at baddies.

Role list:

Vanilla Townie: The death fodder.
- No special powers.

Do-gooder: You are a law abiding citizen.
- Can send a PM to the host to snatch the gun from the Gunslinger once per game.

Vengeful townie: If killing someone before you die was on your bucket list, you can check that off.
- When they die, chooses somebody to kill as well.
- This shot has 100% accuracy

Mafia: An old crime syndicate who used to terrorize town. Now there are only two of them, but they are still dangerous.
- The faction can send a PM to the host to snatch the gun once per game.

Lonely Townie (Third Party): You’ve got to make friends. At this rate, a bullet might be your soulmate pal.
- Can only win if they get the gun twice. Even if they die afterwards. Wins with mafia or town.
- Game continues as normal if lonely townie achieves wincon. His win is not publicy revealed until the game is over or he dies.

Setup:

7-9 players

2 mafia, 1 vengeful townie, 1 do-gooder, 1 lonely townie. All the rest are Vanilla Townies

There is also a version for 10+ players, but for now this one will be default. I'll post that version if we actually get such a player number.

Made some changes to the setup.

There are now 2 mafia instead of 1. Meanwhile, civilians gained the do-gooder role.

There are more roles in the original setup, but they will only be added if I get 10 or more players, in order to preserve balance.

yea, next weekend is impossible for me. I'm watching Jumanji on Saturday Christmas eve on Sunday and Christmas dinner on Monday.

If this is a go still, just a heads up it would be a little more difficult for me at the start since I work until 2 CST, which means I would be able to be around on a more limited basis for the first hour and twenty minutes or so. But I think I can manage it still.
