This game features a smaller, but still original story that takes place before the events of Phenon Mafia

Players will PM me their entries once the game is finalized and signups are open.

There is no reveal upon death of any kind

*So to address the elephant in the room, I personally havent played a SockPuppet game before, but by my understanding, it's an account given to hide a name, typically in a themed, roleplay game. I wanted to use this concept and use this disguiser role. As the host i would of course make sure any result relevant information, or in other words what the power role's night submissions were, is kept secret as to not allow the mafia to have that advantage. I will also keep all conversations between player and host to a personal Quicktopic created for each player.

Sound fun?

So to expand on this now: players will be given a sockpuppet account, the names currently will just be the phonetic alphabet, with portraits being the corresponding character. This can change if people are interested in submitting a portrait of a scientist/bodyguard/normal person for themselves. (It doesn’t have to be good I promise)

This game will have light flavor text, and it will include the following:
-a dead chat for dead players to discuss between themselves but no one else.
-a spoiler chat where you can hangout with me and watch the madness
-no role reveals upon death
-Special recognitions at the end

Rules:
-Days will last 48 hours. Nights will last 24 hours.
-All votes will be changeable and must be cast in the poll to count.
-Lynch ties will be decided randomly.
-“No Lynch" will be a viable poll option
-No account claiming, aka your actual forum account.
-The Mafia will be given BTSC at all times unless they are dead.
-The game will have a Day 0/Pregame for players to check in, etc.
-Mafia will have the option to select who will be what role during the Pregame. In other words, they are not assigned a role by the host.
-Anyone on the mafia team may perform the Nightly Mafia Kill.
-No Jesters, Cults, Alignment changing, Mod Bastardry, Obliterators, or BTSC spying
-Win conditions may be revoked from players at the host’s discretion. Typically based upon participation.
-All Player to Host communication regarding questions about the game, actions, etc should be done through Private Messaging.
-Keep game-sensitive details inside the game.
-Do Not edit or delete posts.
-Death will grant you one spoilered "bluh" post, which may not contain game-relevant information.
-No OOC or Dead Chat in the Game Thread. Only players and the host(s) may post.
-Refrain from ciphering or concealing posts. This includes writing in the same color as the background.
-Please, this is a game. Take it easy, play to have fun, but play to win! We all want to have fun. Remember that.

Once everyone was seated he stood to call to attention the topic of the meeting. "My fellow research group, it has been a pleasure working with you over these past twenty or so years. It is with great optimism, as you can see before you that the ARM prototype has been a complete success! We only need to make a few minor tweaks to ensure optimal safety and consistent results. The fruit of our labor will bring in a new age all across the globe in the coming years. As for each of you, I do hope you understand the wait in usage, as well as our cautionary measures, but it will only mean you be among the first to have access to the ARM itself. In terms of economics for the future, I am still discussing that among my advisers and-"

The man paused to do another once over of his staff, an ominous feeling hit him for a split second before he changed the subject at hand. "Er hrm, my apologies. We will continue this meeting at a later date, ill be e-mailing you through your company accounts with a more accurate schedule on reviewing data as well as upcoming social events. Dismissed." He gave a nod and a smile before packing up some loose papers he had laid out beforehand. Slinging his lab coat over his right shoulder, he headed down the hall to the CEO office where he had spent a majority of the day already answering numerous phone calls back to back. He had since directed all calls to various associates in the corporation. Once more the scientist looked to the window over the darkened skies, viewing his own reflection. "The potential for improvement among the human race will be enormous once we perfect the ARM. But so will disaster, since human nature always has some force of evil always trying to drag it down." Today may have been his 83rd birthday, but Dr. Feni Cash was with renewed vigor and more importantly a new life, having defied the laws of creation and aging and having his cells return him to about the age of twenty-seven. Cash's phone rang unexpectedly as he turned away from the window to sit at his desk. He picked up the phone and answered, stifling a yawn, "Hellllo, Feni Cash speaking." The voice of one of his associates answered, "sir we have a situation in the lobby that requires your immediate attent-" before being cut off and the security alarms started blaring.

Day Zero has started, all scientists feel free to clock in.

Fifteen scientists, all with their varying skills, but a majority in bio-engineering stood in an arc around the main exit of the HIVE building. Most were in shock as there was a gruesome sight sprawled before them on the ground halting their advance to leave. The overnight security guard for the front desk was purple in the face with contusions on his neck. Over his face was a brown paper bag with a folded paper resting on top. Upon further investigation, someone snatched the note and read it aloud: 'The Federation sends it's regards.' The security sirens immediately went off and the whole first floor was sealed off by thick steel plates. Outer doors, windows, elevators, staircases and all. A voice unfamiliar came over the intercom, "I am well aware that one of you has the access card to retrieve the ARM from it's maximum security vault. Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way." Fear and panic crossed over the faces of everyone. No one admitting to having the card. "Fine, the hard way it is. You'll have an approximate amount of time to give it up before it is taken from you by force."

Day 1 has started, you have 24 hours to vote someone.... or not.
