Civilians

Civilians:
Must eliminate Mafia to win.

Doctor (x1): Can protect a player every night. Double targetting is allowed. Cannot self-target
Vanilla (x3): Does not have any powers.

Mafia:
Must eliminate the Civilians to win.

Mafia Goon (x1): Does not have any powers.

Independent:

Jester (x1): Does not have any powers. Must be lynched to win. Makes everyone else lose if that happens.

RULES

- Votes are changeable and self-voting is allowed.
- Role revealing/hinting and info dumping are ALLOWED
- Players win along with their faction, dead or alive.
- All roles are revealed upon death.
- Day phases are 30 minutes and night phases are 10 minutes. Please be aware this may change depending on circumstances.
- Do not communicate with any players about this game outside the game thread, unless given explicit permission by your role. I will provide you with a BTSC channel if that is the case.
- All game posts should be posted in white. Off-topic posts should be posted in green. Dead posts should be posted in red. Non-players should post in blue. I will be using this color.

You might have an option turned off in your settings. Good to be playing with someone new (though technically in this relationship I suppose I'm the newbie)

But how many games have you played where the game can end on Day 1 if you lynch incorrectly?

It does, but it might be disabled for shorter games like this. Otherwise you'd be hitting linki every five seconds.

I agree with the strategic value of a no lynch in this game, but think we should still use as much time to talk as we can

Can't say I've ever played a game that supposedly finishes within an hour. In my eyes, the quicker we get information, the better. But I am a novice to this style, I admit.
