This guy is town.
maybe he is just lazy and trying to come up with a game-related excuse not to read.
I guess that's possible, but I don't think so based on an initial reaction. Do you not sense the urgency of a townie in that post?

Not much time in each phase I feel like mafia is more likely to make mistakes with less time to think on things and plot.
I don't agree, but hell, when do I agree? Lol.

I could follow that logic as well, but I'm trying to avoid it at all costs. Hopefully by the end of the phase there is no one that fits that description.

I don't know what is "scummy." I never understood that- the goal of mafia is to make people think you are a civilian. If there is a simple list of behaviors that automatically determine alignment, then the game of Mafia is pointless.

But Mafia isn't pointless.

Because there is no such list.

sig is defending people who have not shown up. This makes me think he has a teammate among them.

I didn't use the word trust. I asked for an evaluation of whether someone seems townie or not based on the sentiment expressed within a post. Do you not see it?

First, they don't count toward civilian numbers if they aren't voting.

Second, you are assuming ALL the mafia are inactive if no kill occurs. I have no reason to believe that is the case. If even one mafia is active, there will be a kill, and the no-shows will never be addressed.

I'd rather spend my limited time right now reading player posts than host posts. 20 minutes is like the length of a regular shower
not when you are a mom, it's like 7

My initial thought was to go for low posters as well. But then, who is to say they are baddies. I think we out to go through at least one night and see if there is a kill before we pick them off.
Kylemii will never be a mom.

I just didn't really want to kill off someone who was actively participating. Not sure if that was a good idea or not.

NIGHT 1

"SO... Whodunnit?" The conductor asked, as the crow agents lined up in the train car.

"We don't know," the lead crow admitted. "We couldn't find any conclusive evidence."

"What? So you've done peck all to solve the case?!" The Conductor turned to the other inhabitants of the room, who had been discussing things whis whole time. "Who's the muderer? Which one of you did it?!"

"Ah, so I was right!" the conductor cackled. "Ms. SPDANGFO did it after all!"

SPDANGFO said nothing, not even to refuse ther ridiculous name that a few errant keyboard presses had resulted in. Then...

"Alright, you got me darling."

A male voice sprung forth. It was very... Elvis-y. Ih had vestigal Elvisian tendencies.

"But..." The Conductor seemed genuinely taken aback. "Why? Why kill-"

As you might have noticed, Darling, I'm not actually Ms. SPUDANGFOE. It's your friendly movie-makin' rival, DJ Grooves! I know you've been having trouble shooting a movie, darling, so I made up this scheme to help you create an interesting movie plot! The Express Owl was kind enough to put on the rubber knife and play dead to help me."

*CLICK*

A hidden phone went dead somewhere in the room.

"RRRRRRRHHHHHHH" The Conductor hopped up and down angrily, screeching and cawing. "I didn't ask yer for yer help, you music-makin' penguin-slavin' PECK NECK!"

"BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD!"

INH has been lynched. His role card:
You are Hat Kid's mother, a town searcher/doublevoter!

Each night you can search for Hat Kid. You will be notified if you find them. (Hat Kid is town as well.)

Your vote is worth 2 until MYLO/LYLO comes around.

You are town. You win when the mafia have been eliminated.
Day 2 begins in about 10 minutes. Get those night actions in!

It's only a viable mafia strategy if all the inactives are a civilian. You're putting the train before the horse.
