Alright gang, we're ready for the polling process to build our next full game queue.

You may select any four options among those included in the poll. The three with the most votes will be guaranteed inclusion in the queue. The game submitted by a member who has never hosted a full game which earns the most votes will also be included for a total queue of four games. It is possible that this will simply be the top four, but not necessarily. The games are listed in alphabetical order by host username both in the poll and in the list of links below:

NOTE: If you have a game included in this poll which does not end up being selected, please do not take it personally. I know that if we only had the time, we would love to play all of these games if we could. Our limitations mean that only some of these will proceed into the queue, but the prospective hosts of the other games are still valued and appreciated for their submissions. There will be more opportunities to try again, and be mindful as well that slight tweaks can make any game work as a side mission where there is no queuing poll.

The poll will last one week starting the moment I submit this post. In the event of a tie, priority will go to the game which was submitted first. If you have questions, concerns, or comments, feel free to post them in the thread. I'm looking forward to seeing the new queue.

when would the second poll this year run? 4 games every 6 months approx right?

Probably less since we are running two jobs at a time currently.

That’s a rough projection, yes. It’s difficult to know how long it will really take; it could be more or less. The next poll will occur as the last of the four is in sign-ups.

I deleted the post that I placed here earlier in the day. I just read through another thread that I was not up to date on. I realize that the timing of my former post lined up with rising tensions elsewhere. I was ignorant to those developments and realize how my prior post might have seemed any number of things- disrespectful, antagonistic, and/or generally antithetical to the sense of community strived for on this site- if it was assumed by any readers that I was aware of other events occurring at or around the same time.

I have not spoken my final words on CC123 yet, but I sincerely hope that its legacy is not destined to be as dunya describes it.

oh boy, [mention]G-Man[/mention], I hope you realize my post here was entirely tongue-in-cheek about the wackiness of the game (as was your response, I gathered), and had no relation to what was happening in the other thread at all (and I made my stance about that pretty clear over there). I appreciate you as a host and respect your efforts very much!

I think we're all in agreement that your presence in this community is incredibly valued, G-Man, and that CC123 for all of its experimentation was a well-run game that served the community well with a unique brand of chaotic mafia fun for a few months.

Otherwise, I just want to express how pleased I am at the submissions for this queue. These are really incredible-looking games, everyone! Pretty much impossible to vote, but I tried anyway. I'm sure even those that don't make the cut this time will be seeing the light of day sooner rather than later, because these all look like they'll be an absolute blast. I feel so fortunate that we have so many talented and creative hosts around here!

[mention]dunya[/mention] I assumed it was a joke initially and I still did before your elaboration. Thanks for the clarifying comment though. I just felt strongly that I needed to edit my post in light of where it fell in the timeline of things.

To everyone else in general- you don’t need to defend me or my game against anyone or anything. I’m a big boy and can shake it off. I’m no angel either, so no need to circle the proverbial wagons on my behalf. I’m just one creative but flawed person in a sea of creative but flawed people in this community. I don’t view myself as any more or less valuable or vital than any of you. Heck, I don’t even play that often, so I really don’t belong on any pedestals.

Totally agree. Your game was all I had to hang onto during some very dark days (and very strong pain medication). I loved my btsc role and felt like I did some good for my team. Your games are always awesome and I will play them whenever I can.

Hearing there will be two jobs running at once brings me happiness, because even with not all games getting in it shouldn't take THAT long for them to from now on.

Members who host a game during this queue of four will be ineligible to host during the next queue (unless there are too few submissions overall).

You're all valued here, and it's clear in the voting. Every single game received a solid number of votes, and it was a contentious poll.

The four hosts of these games will convene privately to determine what order of play is best for everyone. Stay tuned!

I actually had intended to change my vote towards the end of the poll but I got completely slammed.

For the record, Alex will not be cohosting my game with me. He's going to be cohosting with Marmot in the next queue instead. I will be going solo this time it seems. Been a while since I did all the tracking fir myself, lol.

I'm personally glad ours didn't make the cut. Wednesday I agreed to take a THIRD at-home student (i.e., a student who is medically unable to be in class), and as it turns out the address I was given was wrong, so I have to go out of the way...

...and then Thursday I was asked to teach an additional class for a teacher who is out because of surgery.

I have no idea how I am going to manage these next fourteen weeks.

Yeah, I wouldn’t have been doing much; it’s 100% Daisy’s game. But I’m also too busy right now to even not be doing much.

I’ll be giving a Daisy my tracking spreadsheet and she is being modest; I am sure she can handle it.
