THREAD-BASED - CLOSED BTSC

In this game, the two players will repeatedly challenge each other with one out of nine numbered tiles. The highest numbered tile wins.

Both players will receive 9 numbered tiles ranging from 0 to 8. The 9 tiles are divided into black and white colors. 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 are black tiles, while 1, 3, 5, and 7 are white tiles. The initial order of play will be randomly decided. Starting from the second round, the player who won the previous round will present their tile first. The starting player will choose a number from 0 to 8, PM me their choice, and publicly post the color of the tile that they are playing. The following player will then undergo the same process. The player who presented the higher number will win the round, and gain a point. The presented tiles are then discarded, and cannot be used again. The numbers of the presented tiles will not be revealed even after the result is announced. In the event of a tie, both players will keep their tiles, and the round will restart. If a tie occurs in the final round, the entire game will restart, and both players will receive nine new tiles.

Using the numbers you previously chose, and the black and white tiles as hints, you can play by inferring what tiles your opponent has left. The first player with the most points after 9 rounds will be the winner, and will advance to the next stage of the competition. The loser will be eliminated.

I think you just got unlucky in rounds two and four. It's hard to look through and pinpoint where you lost but I imagine 1-point margins are bad for the loser.

I think you just got unlucky in rounds two and four. It's hard to look through and pinpoint where you lost but I imagine 1-point margins are bad for the loser.

I studied the patterns of all four rounds played on the television show for trends and found a few winning trends. Trends don't guarantee a win though, especially when the sample-size is small.

As I said, I don't really have time for this. I really should not be spending my time studying trends on a foreign game show I've never watched.

I just kinda played it by ear. Got rid of my zero, played some high numbers to get a lead, then drained Epi of good cards before the end. It's like playing Rook, kind of.

Middle Race might literally be the death of me. The good news is that if Middle Race can be pulled off, the rest is gonna be smooth sailing.

Work is killing me and now Eloh's health is in question. I don't like to bring up business like that during a game because I don't ever wish to be accused of being emotionally manipulative regarding that sort of thing. So me getting eliminated first is really fine with me. I don't know what the doctor is going to say tomorrow.

We'll hopefully find out tomorrow. It's been a problem for a few months but recently it's been tough on her. Comes and goes. So we'll see. I've taken off more days this month than I've taken off all year. I hate taking days off.
