Hidy ho Syndikats!

Now that the fourth and final game of the current full games queue has entered sign-ups, we're ready to begin the process of building the next queue. Things to know:

~ This time, we will build a queue of five games instead of four. This projects to approximately a six-month period (which can vary a lot), so consider that and your own expected time constraints as you think about submitting.

~ All members are eligible to submit a game for consideration in the eventual poll except for the four hosts from the current queue (myself, MacDougall, speedchuck, and Spacedaisy).

~ To be able to submit a game, you'll need to have a thread created for it in the Drawing Board forum which indicates it as a full game submission. This applies to anyone who has already created such a thread, and members are also welcome to create a thread during this submissions period.

~ To throw your hat in the ring, simply PM me and let me know which game you want to submit. Please limit your submissions to one game per host or host team.

~ Like last time, we will implement a policy which ensures at least one game hosted by a member who has never hosted a full game before will be included (assuming at least one is submitted). All games will be included in the same poll however, and this priority does not extend beyond the one game. More than one is possible if the voting shakes out that way.

~ Please understand that all submissions will be included in a poll to select the five for the queue. This means that some may not receive enough votes to proceed. I hope everyone realizes that this is no reflection on them or on how they are valued here. I wish we could play them all! There simply isn't enough time.

~ The submission period will last two weeks, with a deadline set for Tuesday the 10th of July at 11:59 PM eastern U.S. time.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know. I look forward to seeing the submissions roll in.

Look guys, stop sending me PMs to cohost. I already submitted a game and the rules are one host per submission. Sorry to disappoint!

Just clarifying that it's one submission per host to avoid confusion.

The post was a joke, but I'm glad I afforded you a chance to clarify your rules. :meany:

I’m probably not gonna submit the Job I’ve posted this go around unless you can’t get to 5 for some odd reason. Considering the average age of the games submitted so far is about 29 months (much closer to 3 years without LoRab’s) and there were a bunch that were a year or two old last time, I can wait a little while these awesome ones finally see the light of day.

Do closed setups ever get voted in?

Interesting question. I think they would, yes, but I think ‘original story’ could have a challenging time. Hard to say.
