Rules? Really?

1. This is a closed set-up. You may role claim, lie, fabricate your role, ability, win condition, etc., info dump, etc. You can legally do all of those things. Just because it's legal does not mean it is in your best interest.

2. No editing or deleting of posts.
3. No BTSC (Behind the Scenes Contact/Conversation) with anyone other than your specified BTSC partners and in the specified BTSC location.
4. No double-targeting (targeting the same individual with a power twice in a row) or self-targeting unless otherwise given permission.
5. Be respectful and remember that this is a game.
6. Dead players should not post on-topic and should post in dead red. There is a "dead" button when posting for this function.
7. Off-topic posts should be in off-topic green. There is an "OT" button when posting for this function.
8. Posts from non-players should be in non-player blue. There is a "np" button when posting for this function.
9. JaggedJimmyJay is the Mod on Duty, which is spooky in and of itself, but if you feel the need, reach out to him before reaching out for anybody's throat.
10. Votes are changeable.
11. Day periods last 48 hours. Night periods last 23 hours. Night 0 (there are no powers during this time) ends at 7pm EST tomorrow.
12. All questions for the Host should be directed to me privately. If I feel a public answer is warranted, I'll act accordingly.
13. What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly (nobody seems to know where Morticia said this, but it's a common quote).

Bored.

The Addams Family was bored.

Nobody did anything interesting anymore.

Everybody looked at cell phones and complained about things on Twitter and considered the opinions of people named Kardashian.

It was a Dark Age, indeed.

"I have it!" cried Gomez. "We shall create our own misadventure!"

"Darling, when you Google "Excited Adams" you get Selena," said Morticia. "You know that, don't you?"

"Two Ds, cara bella. Two Ds."

"Oooooh. Double Ds are good."

"A secret duo shall be formed, and this duo will methodically murder all the rest of the family!" Gomez declared.

"Good. I've been practicing for this," said Wednesday.

"Eh," said Pugsley. He didn't care about much.

Thing tapped on the floor.

"Yes Thing, you can play too."

"mmmmm"

"You too, Lurch! Get in here."

"I better not be left out. Nobody pays for electricity around here anymore."

"Fester, old man!"

"qwui qwui qwui qwui"

"Cousin Itt!"

"I've brewed a potion to make us all paranoid and hate each other," said Mamma. "When we drink, we will suspect and try to hang one another. Only two of us will be in cahoots!"

"Excellent work, Mamma," said Morticia.

"To our deaths!" said Gomez, and drank.

It is now Night 0. Nothing happens during this time. Day 1 starts at 7pm EST tomorrow.

After ingesting Mamma's potion, the Addams Family eyeballed one another with the dark understanding that two among them were killers. Wednesday produced a number of designer nooses, and Pugsley came up with the idea that after a nice family discussion, everyone could vote on whom to hang. "Like a deadly democracy!" he declared.

Gomez drew his sword and thrust it within an inch of Morticia's ivory neck. "Et tu, Tish?"

"Mon amour," she replied, and the two entered a fit of ardent kissing.

Lurch watched, unblinking.

Thing tapped the floor, getting everyone's attention, and pointed to the nooses.

Exclaimed Cousin Itt, "Qwuet qwuet!"

"Well, let's get on with it then. Who is going to die?" asked Uncle Fester, grinning boyishly and clasping his hands.

It is now Day 1. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

So first, I didn't even see that post about burning your work until I looked at Jack's ISO so I get it now.

Yes I know that is the prevailing mafia philosophy these days, I just can't usually find a reason to vote people so early. I'm trying to adapt though.

I can't really make a good read off of one post but I didn't see anything I really didn't like or thought was off, though there were some I didn't understand. I'll go one by one though:

nova - your post "hello" looked fine to me though I would expect someone to bring up the emoji scum tell.
Mac - I don't know what "I'm ready to fudge" means but I figure its probably just some Aussie slang for "ready to go".
leetic - his post made me smile, I'm glad the depression is better. No problems with his entrance.
Jack - pictures of Wednesday with instruments of death. Not sure what this means other than maybe role hinting. Maybe he just means let's get us a baddie. Did not make me suspicious of him.
sable - looked like typical sable to me, so looked fine.
speedchuck - "nova is scum" too early for me to believe this is real but seems in line with the way we play these days and your GTH pre-entrance thing which I kind of got a kick out of.
DDL - talked of drinking the potion and liked the story. Didn't see anything wrong with this post either.
Luna - just got here, read nothing yet. It was typical Luna and I didn't see a problem.

So, not much there in the first posts for me - what about you? What did you think of the first posts.

Yeah, I think nova is town. His GTH was a bold move. I don't really like jack or speed wanting to lynch him for it.

I actually like Speed's hot take. Got a nice relaxed vibe to them and I could see him feeling that way, not really being sold on them though. That'd be bullshit.
