Hello and welcome to The Syndicate!
In addition to all the fun site threads we also have two discord servers.
The first is our Syndicate chat server where get to know each other better, play fun non-mafia games and just generally have a good time. It’s a great way to meet people outside of the mafia games and you can participate at whatever level you feel comfortable.
To get to our discord server use this link https://discord.gg/dHKQEYH. You will find yourself in our New Members channel with the ability to read our rules channel. One of our moderators will greet you and verify your site identity for security purposes and then assign you a role that gives you access to the main channels. Also note we have two private channels you can join, one is #world affairs and the other is #LGBTQ+ chat Just let us know with a dm in discord or a pm here if you would like to join either or both of those channels. Finally, please read the rules in the #syndicate rules channel before posting in any of the channels on the server.
If no one greets you it means you have dropped into the channel when no moderators are present. The best times to join are in the afternoon through the night EST/EDT. If you join and don’t get any messages from us please send us a pm here at the site. The moderators for discord are me, dunya, nutella, birdwithteeth, and Spacedaisy. I have the server site open most of the time when I’m not at work.
The second Syndicate server is the one we use for Walrus Reveals. If you're not sure what a Walrus is, please see the next post in this thread which has a short explanation. It's basically a music game which is a whole lot of fun and will likely expand your musical horizon. Here is the invite https://discord.gg/HgVAjpHNmA. Just an update for everyone regarding our Discord Servers.
In our main Syndicate Discord server we have added two private channels that you are welcome to join when you join our server. One is the private #world affairs channel where we discuss/debate different topics that are important or interesting to people who are members of the channel. We also have a private #LGBTQ+ chat channel. Once you enter the server at https://discord.gg/dHKQEYH and we assign you a Member role you can dm me, dunya or birdwithteeth for the #world affairs channel and me, dunya, birdwithteeth, or nutella for the LGBTQ+ channel. We have chats for many different topics in our server, we play games, and just generally have a great time!
Secondly, we also have a Syndicate Walrus Server. A Walrus (plural walri) is a music game where people submit music to a host based on a theme the host picks, the host scores the entries and then reveals the music starting with the lowest rated and building to the highest rated song. It's a ton of fun to attend a reveal and even more fun if you submit songs! We also have a reveal schedule that includes reveals in our server and some other severs that run Walri so you can see who's revealing what and when. In addition, we have links to Walri that are in sign-ups if you want to join one. We will be happy to explain more about how a Walrus works, just join us at https://discord.gg/HgVAjpHNmA.

Hello everyone!!
If you haven't joined our Syndicate discord server you're missing some fun times getting to know other members of the site, making friends, laughing (lots of laughing), special interest channels and participating in fun events.
Here are a few of our channels you may be interested in!
#syndicatechat - general chat about almost anything! Light and casual, lot's of laughter, getting to know people, friendly environment, did I mention laughter?!
#yay sports - one of our most popular channels where you can talk and get current information about any sport, your favorite teams and join our fantasy teams. Friendly rivalries lots of laugher, and some very knowledgable laymen experts!
#world affairs - the only space in our Syndicate system where you can talk and debate about controversial world events whether it be military conflict or social justice and other subjects of interest. Special rules apply to the channel and you can join by pinging me, dunya, or birdwithteeth.
#mafia talk - discussion about all things mafia such as setups, theory, past games anywhere, anything and everything except for talk or reference to current games on our site or other sites
