I'm still thinking rej. [VOTE: rej] aubergine
sig wrote: Mon Aug 05, 2019 6:27 pm Though the question is why would a bad rej vote for mac? Where is the logic there
He couldn't get people on the dom train so he's trying to get people to vote mac. Also self preservation to get people off his train. Rej has been following the wagon of the day up until now and now that everyone is giving him a hard time he has to find any other person to get people to suspect.

This is just antispew.
What does your statement even mean? Whats your case even against me? I am even more assured now that scum is in my wagon. Its LyLo. Town throws suspicion at me since days and its just natural that mafia wants my easy mislynch to win now. If that rly happens...then I feel bad for throwing. Should be a lesson for me.
Spew is things we learn when you flip scum. Antispew is when you post to try to counteract spew.

If you’re scum about to get lynched, voting Mac tells us nothing cause Mac is prob mechanically clear. The idea is you’re posting so as to not give away your teammates, not actually trying to get a Mac lynch since a Mac lynch ain’t happening.

Day 5

By now the Warden and his men had got the prisoners so paranoid that they were too busy fighting among themselves to resist their oppression. If the dream of freedom, fresh hair, and a new start was not completely dead by now, it was very nearly there. Any cracks in the Warden's stranglehold over Sockville had been patched in recent weeks. It was no thing at all for his guards to rough up Danny Peanuts in his cell. They didn't even bother to make it look like an accident. It didn't matter at this point.

Macdougall has been lynched. He was Danny Peanuts, civilian Mason.

Night 5

It was over before it began. For one bright shining moment the inmates thought they would be the first ever to break free from Sockville's walls. But the Warden and his men systematically rooted them out, one by one, until there was nobody left. Any thought of escape was buried in fear and anxiety. Too many of their brothers had been displayed, bloodied and bruised in their cells or in the yard, a clear show of power by the Warden's goons. Maybe that was a better fate than wasting away behind bars anyway, in this infernal hell. But for the Warden it was a clean victory, a reaffirmation of his power. That Warden of the Year plaque was his for sure this time.

sabie12 has been killed. She was Danny Tightpants, even night cop.
The mafia team has won. Congratulations to Jackofhearts2005, Rej, and sprityo. And thank you all for playing.

Remaining/unannounced roles:

juliets was the vigilante.
Dom was the Odd-night cop and was insane (making sabie the sane cop).
nova was the voyeur
sig was the jack of all trades.

jack was the ninja
rej was the strongman/roleblocker
sprit was the janitor/role cop. he also had a limited vote protection ability as long as his teammates were alive, but it never factored into the game at all.

Sloonei Did Dom get tangled with a bus-drive target and got innocent on someone that ended up flipping, which made him think he's sane and as such sure of a guilty result on Mac?

Otherwise I'm not sure how he didn't consider it. I mean I gave him the receipts, it went both ways. Mac legacy reading TSP as civ, and TSP doing the same.

It is my greatest regret but at the time it seemed a little selfish. But I KNEW I just KNEW you were bad because of your tunneling which is EXACTLY what you did in that other game.

And beyond you I just had no idea who was really bad and was afraid I would put us in an even worse position than we were already in.

What I want to know is how the hell Mac got lynched. I peaked in and saw that and just shook my head and left so I didn't read back. And I haven't looked at the roles but was Dom the insane cop?

Congrats baddies, and nova by the way I will know bad nova next time a see one. But you all played this one really well.

Ohhhhh so he was the insane cop. No wonder he was so convinced. Because I'm dumb it didn't occur to me that that's what happened until the night where I was killed.

We had role cooped Nova and figured out who Mac was.

That left a vig and a joat (with a protection and double vote) as the powers that could stop us.

Dom would have shot Mac if he was the vig or maybe voted Mac if he was the joat.

Sig was basically inactive.

Between you and Sabie, figured you’d be harder to lynch and more likely to be holding the double vote for lylo.

Figured I’d already be dead if you were the vig tbh. :phew:

We had role cooped Nova and figured out who Mac was.

That left a vig and a joat (with a protection and double vote) as the powers that could stop us.

Dom would have shot Mac if he was the vig or maybe voted Mac if he was the joat.

Sig was basically inactive.

Live and learn. Next time I will do it. But seriously you guys did a great job.

But I wasn't bad this game lol.

Well damn. I must have misread something. So ok I still don't know the "bad" nova. I'm into the wine tonight so I could have easily misunderstood.

vig is my least favorite town role to hold for the exact reasons you held onto your shot. It feels selfish to take matters entirely into your own hands like that unless you’re 99% certain about your shot.

Yes.

Fun fact: I named that role after the Warden role in Turf Wars. Everyone suspected that Golden had the role for the longest time and so “Golden is the Warden” became a popular refrain. Meanwhile he and I were civilian BTSC partners and I was onto Epi as the true warden from like Day 2 on.

Also no one seemed to comment on the fact that I literally named a role after Long Con.

I knew jack was going to do the whole switch votes at the last second thing. Wasnt sure how to to stop it though since dom had already voted mac and kinda messed it up I dont know if it would have mattered by that point. I knew I was the same cop because I checked epi and then of course he died. My plan had been to either buddy him if he was good or lynch him if was bad but then didnt factor in oh wait maybe they're going to kill him off.
Sometimes life does seem all planned out, like there's no choice in the matter. But that's just an illusion.

Yeah, top cop strategy is to cop kill magnets like Epi or lynch magnets like Creature.

Or to cop yourself if that’s allowed.

Prison Mike is my favorite reference in this game.
