Then you mentioned having a plan and I replied with this:
My chances of winning are lower than they were before (since I can't vote), but I think I'll refrain from revealing more details to opportunistic townies if I can.

If you want to be recruited feel free to reveal your role. I can promise I won't soup kill you if I like your plan or the idea of it, but I can't make you 100% trust me. That said, I love crazy and fun plays.

Also what was up with the exploring? I went to the furnace and then LC's dorm room, but nothing seemed to happen with those, so I never went anywhere else. Were they meant to be something more than they were?

I think sprit forgot too, since he stopped posting new locations

Probably would have bothered more if there were items or maybe evidence to find. Like, since this is danganronpa, spread evidence in some rooms that players can find which give them info for whoever finds it first. Similar to the World Apart games.

I think the major setup problem (and I guess this is thematic) is that the town has nothing to fight for. It seems rather disheartening. I think even giving the limit on Bear recruits clears that up. At least for me. But I also don’t think the town win con is well defined? Which is kinda iffy.
I
I didn’t buy the DDL stuff but I figured I would win if I killed Sabie or at least more exciting stuff would happen so it’s still my best out.
No, that was perfect. We had to overcome our own selfishness and despair to let hope win.

So me looking at an arbitrary (yet ultimately correct) poe and picking DDL out on post style was pretty good but Tony did just as good looking at the whole player list and narrowing it down to a poe of DDL plus a few on post style is equally impressive.

It wasn’t locked in, sure, but there was just no discussion of it at all.

Not knowing how many wolves could be recruited total and having one flip town was scary from an in game town perspective but ultimately allowed the town to question the game state and possibly side with Monokuma, which I think was good design.

Like nobody thought the mafia could be dead off one red flip.

Tbh I was confused about how I should've incorporated my role info in any solving

I should've turned to Rej / Creature being Junko as nobody claimed roleblocked, but there were roles that weren't directly notified like me so I assumed it wasn't them.

Plus, LC (I think?) said he might've been rbed.

I'm really confused about how I should've solved with the info I got lol

COOO! (Okosan mentioned a couple of things we ould do but nobody seemed super into it. We can say things like, "Aoi post your acition at the last possible second" and then whoever you get for that you know has a higher chance to be Aoi at least.)

COO! (Theoretically we could've collectively decided as town to not do anything on nights too. That would clear anyone who didn't act if there's a kill)

By the way, Okosan, been meaning to tell this to you but I thought I'd somehow spew my role if I did. You once suggested that the mass roleblock should submit last second so I would learn their identity.

But that just blocks me from receiving the info because I'm roleblocked lol

But the second point is good. It's technically correct. It simplifies stuff for me.

But Rej kept on roleblocking me so this wouldn't have been that effective, for this specific game.

Coooooo! (Okosan didn't really know what to do with his role either tbh. Because if he hits town with it, it only soft confirms them if there are multiple mafia, and can lead to people having misinformation on their own clears. And if Okosan hits scum with it he has a high likelihood to kill himself. That's why Okosan just stopped using it halfway through the game)

It is kind of confusing. So, my role stated that if I lived to day 6 I could challenge monokuma and end the game. No one but monokuma knew what that actually meant or what that would mean. I lived to day 6 and challenged him.
He wrote out a big long explanation of what would happen if I died and what would happen if he died. He made up whatever he wanted in order to try to persuade people not to kill him. That did not work and they killed him. At that point in the show, my character restores hope to all the students and they all are free to leave. The game reflects that sentiment so all the students got to win the game aside from the first recruit.

Just out of curiosity, in the videogame (I'm saying videogame because the show is the adaptation):
Spoiler: show
Junko gives the kids the choice between lynching her or Makoto. If they lynch Makoto, they will spend the rest of their lives in the school, which is what they were actually planning to do before the whole killing thing started. If they lynch Junko, they will be allowed to leave, but the world out there is a post-apocalyptical world where terrorist attacks happen all the time, the air is barely breathable and most people are dead. They decide to lynch Junko, and leave. After that, they join an organization dedicated to fighting Junko's followers and restoring the world. The point is that they did not get a nice prize, only the hope that they can restore humanity one day, and Makoto convinces them to do it because he is the Ultimate Hope, the one who never gives up.

The abilities I came up with are somewhat similar to the game's in spirit. THere is the safe option, and the risky one that may pay off in the future if you work hard.

Sabie lied to everyone

She knew what was going on the whole time :shifty:
You wouldn't give me any info even though I was annoying and kept asking questions haha. I honestly thought challenging him meant I literally had to do something like guess peoples roles or something crazy.

In the real world I'd have probably chosen to stay in the school tbh.

So I kinda forgot the game was happening, but I've played this setup a couple times in sitechat before, (and modded them, too) and usually it doesn't matter who gets lynched first, just because if you get town, you get a confirmed townie, and most of the time by the first couple minutes based on who's working with who and so on and so forth. I saw the votecount and it looked like it was him or you. I knew if I voted you I'd either get scum and p much win, or I'd get town and you'd shoot him (killing scum). That's how it goes pretty much every time. So I flipped a coin that would only land heads up.

I get this setup mixed up a lot, though, with SS3 (and also every time I skim this I think townies are perma one-shot lynchproof) which is why I posted like I did at beginning of day 2. I know you know I'm town, cuz if you didn't think I was, you'd have shot me yesterday. Let's lynch juliets and win this thing for the homies?
