Rules

1) Day periods last 48 hours. Night periods last 23 hours.
2) Votes will be changeable.
3) No double-targeting (targeting the same player on consecutive nights) or self-targeting is permitted. Self-voting is also not permitted.
4) All players on the side of the winning faction will win.
5) Role-claiming and revealing information is not permitted. This includes discussing scrap or system upgrade purchases. You may discuss system upgrades in general but not what you have obtained.
6) Participate. If you require a replacement, please inform me as soon as possible.
7) Be respectful to your fellow participants. If you need to speak to someone on the outside to vent, PM the moderator on duty, dunya.
8) No BTSC (behind the scenes communication) unless authorized by the Hosts.
9) No editing or deleting of posts in the game thread.
10) Dead players should post in the {Dead} Red if they are posting in the game thread.
11) Non-Players should similarly post in {np} Blue if they are posting in the game thread.
12) Living players wishing to discuss something off-topic should do so in {OT} Green.
13) All questions should be asked privately. PM Epignosis and you will receive a private answer.
14) Self-voting is not permitted.
15) Go ahead and blast "Rocket Man." I know you want to.

Scrap

You receive 3 scrap for voting in a poll (Day or Night).

Each time a ship is destroyed by Day vote, it loses half its value and the remaining half is up for grabs. There will be a Night poll to determine who shall receive scrap, and it will be divided up in accordance with the poll results. Each vote in the Night poll is of equal weight.

Repairs: For each vote you took in the Day poll (regardless of its value), you will lose one scrap for repairs. If you cannot repair your ship, you will begin the next Day with votes against you equal to the number of votes you cannot afford to repair. You need not PM the Host to initiate repairs; these will be done automatically as long as you have the scrap.

Scrap is used to purchase system upgrades from The Store. You may make a purchase via PM to the Host at any time. Once an upgrade has been purchased from The Store, it will be noted in red text, and that upgrade is out of stock and no longer available for purchase. Check The Store page before submitting your order!

Shield System

Shield: Your ship is protected from 0.3 votes each Day. (3 scrap)

Engine System

Engine: The vote total against you each Day is reduced by 0.5. (5 scrap)

Weapon System

Dual Laser: Your vote is worth 0.2 more. (4 scrap)

Halberd Beam: Your vote is worth 0.4 more. (9 scrap)

Fire Beam: You ignite your target’s vessel, adding 0.7 votes the next Day (12 scrap)

Ion: Your target is stunned and cannot post or vote the next Day. (13 scrap)

Flak Cannon: You may add 0.3 votes against up to three targets for the next Day. (9 scrap)

Anti-Bio Beam: Kills one crew member each Night, thereby reducing your target’s vote’s worth by 0.4 permanently. Voting power cannot be reduced below zero. (7 scrap)

Missile: A missile will blast a hole through your target, weakening it. This doubles the damage the target received the previous Day that must be repaired (10 scrap)

Bomb: Call a specific system (Weapon, Drone, etc.) on your target; if that system exists on that target, all of the components of that system will be permanently disabled. (13 scrap)

Drone System

Combat Drone: You have a second vote (worth 0.5) to secretly use each Day, but it must be used on someone other than where your vote in the poll is. (8 scrap)

Defense: Any Weapon System components used against you will be blocked. (8 scrap)

Boarding Drone: Your target will lose 4 scrap repairing the extensive damage done by the boarding drone. If you target the Auto-Scout with the boarding drone, the Auto-Scout will be destroyed. (14 scrap)

Oxygen System

Oxygen Upgrade: Be more efficient. Gain 3 additional scrap each phase. (8 scrap)

Door System

Doors Upgrade: You cannot be blocked. (9 scrap)

Medic System

Med Bay: Your vote can never be decreased below 1. (4 scrap)

Clone Bay: Gain permanent BTSC with the pilot of one of the destroyed ships. (7 scrap)

Sensors System

Sensors: You may track another ship’s activity each Night. (8 scrap)

Cloaking System

Cloaking: Your ship is protected from all Night actions on the Night you choose to activate the cloaking system. You may only activate it once. (18 scrap)

Teleportation System

Teleportation: While your crew are on board your target, your target will be distracted in the ensuing melee and be completely blocked. (10 scrap)

Hacking System

Hacking: You may redirect your target's target to the target of your choice. (12 scrap)

Mind Control System:

Mind Control: You force your target to vote the individual of your choice the next Day. (12 scrap)

Unfortunately, the Rebel Flagship had on its bridge a rogue Slug who used its advance telepathy to shroud the Federation ships' identities from one another.

That's a fun mechanic. Off wagon votes actually do something.

Like maybe if you're the only person who scumreads someone, you can eventually make them a viable lynch just be being persistent. And there's no such thing as scum hiding off wagon because they're always hurting someone. Plus, wolves may be less willing to vote for a teammate at all.
