Rules & Using the Syndicate

-The player with the most votes will be eliminated at the end of each Day. In order for a vote to be official, it must be cast in the poll at the top of the page. Players are also encouraged use the [VOTE: vote tag] aubergine to call their votes in-thread, but this does not count as an official vote.
-Any roles or abilities that affect votes, vote totals, or the poll will be disabled at LYLO.
-Players must submit night actions to the Host prior to 1 hour before the deadline each Night.
-Deadline times will be displayed on the polls. Players can change their displayed timezone settings in the User Control Panel.
-No out-of-thread communication (BTSC) unless specified and approved by the Host.
-Any rules or mechanics questions about the game must be asked privately to the Host. I will not answer questions of this nature if they are posted in the thread. Questions about using the website/website interface can be asked and answered publicly.
-Roleclaiming and infodumping are legal, but not universally legal. Some players may not be allowed to roleclaim or infodump. Note that roleclaiming involves revealing information about both one's role name and role abilities.
-No angleshooting, or pursuing actions which might compromise the integrity of this or any other ongoing game. For this game, excessive Appeal to Emotion may be considered a compromise of integrity. Violations of this rule are subject to the Host's judgment.
-Modkills for inactivity will not happen. If a player is inactive, a substitution will be sought out.
-Be kind to one another. Above all else, keep in mind that you are playing a game on the internet with friendly people. If at any point you feel that the game has become emotionally challenging for you in any way, do not be afraid to contact the Mod on Duty/Facilitator. For this game, that is [mention]dunya[/mention].
-All site-wide rules of conduct are in effect, as always.
-This is the Host color. All official Host communications will be posted in this color. Players should try to avoid using it in their own posts.

MacDougall, looking at Nanook with his devilish and gorgeous brown eyes, gave him a wink. Nanook couldn't endure that enchanting gaze and averted his eyes. He tried to protest: "Y-y-your highness ... what are you doing ... Your father, the King, promised your hand in marriage to Princess Nutella from the neighbouring kingdom. If they catch us like this ..."

"Shhh" whispered MacDougall, interrupting him. "I don't care what they do to me. If I had to choose between breathing and loving you ..... , I would use my last breath .... , to say ..... , I love you ...."

The wooden door of the small dark room they were in suddenly burst open. Princess Nutella, standing outside, was staring at them. Her eyes were blue and cold and merciless, like icicles. She reached for her sheath and placed her hand on the handle of her dagger.
