Vote Gramps. That's a lock too, this game should end tonight.

Hugh, you busted this game wide open by catching the last minute vote switch onto Otto. We've succesfully lynched 2 straight scum. Gramps is the last one, his "gg wolves" with Burns on the chopping block...too funny.

Yeah.

[VOTE: Krusty] aubergine

I do not think it is you. Krusty's the one who's been content to just sit back and jump in with digs, letting everyone else do the work all game. You've been the one putting in the majority of the work in the latter half of the game and you're the one who ultimately got everyone to vote Allison/Burns. More specifically, if you were the last wolf, the last two days would have been pointless theatre.

You can call my play the play of an idiot and probably be right

You also made a good point that my vote switch would have saved Krusty who I most scum-read, and I looked at the EOD vote tally in the OP and I think you're right and I'm wrong. That obviously puts me in a tricky position since town!Gramps wouldn't have needed to move at all to get a Krusty chop or to save a town-read Burns. Staying pat would have had everything come up Milhouse. My position of "it was the chaos move" still applies, but the logic I gave fails. And it looks extra terribad because it came at the same time as the flash wagon votes of two confirmed wolves.

All I have is appealing to emotion here. A reasoned, logically coherent play-by-play is evidently not something I am capable of providing. It's not me. I think it's Krusty. In a world of voting for the worst player, I'm the safe bet and won't begrudge you deciding to lock a vote on me. I've had objectively bad play the latter half of this game and spent a couple RL days avoiding the thread entirely.

I want to say that a flash wagon most benefited Krusty. Allison and Burns switching would save him AND Burns, me switching too just gave them the win since I'd automatically be associated. Not a "le master plan," but a very happy accident that they're taking full advantage of. And since then Krusty's just been chilling, throwing in an incendiary comment every now and then, and coasting. Me being locked wolf in turn locked him town.

Your townread on Burns felt fake to me as well. Comes off as an attempt at some pseudo anti spew through brazen defense and teammate handling. It just didn't feel earned for how strong it seemed, especially the progression of it

Another thing of note, I felt like Burns had in his mind an F3 pushing for your chop last phase. Wasn't a push to win the game which it would be if Krusty was his partner. Like it came off as him readying for an F3, making sure I'm not the doc and bringing me there hoping I reasses away from him and with the added advantage of tinfoiling with "why the fuck is this dude still alive"

Day 7

Ladies and Gentlemen of Springfield: Tonight it is with sincere gravity that I report the news to you.

Springfield Police have made what they hope to be the final arrest in the Lincoln Squirrel conspiracy. It is believed that this fortuitous break in the case might finally bring to an end one of the darkest chapters in Springfield's colorful history. For weeks the murderers have taunted citizens and the law alike, but recent turns in the investigation have uncovered a pair of culprits. With the suspect pool dwindling, it is believed that it is now or never for the investigation.

We go now live to Mayor Quimby and Police Chief Wiggum with the announcement...

Day 7

Image

Springfield Police have arrested Abraham "Grampa" Simpson on suspicion of squirrelicide. Police became suspicious when Mr. Simpson was overheard shouting to crowd of disinterested passersby that the squirrel is quote, "Evil! Evil! EEEEVVIIIIIIIIL!" for several uninterrupted minutes.

When questioned further, the elder Simpson demanded to be left alone and then promptly fell asleep.

Grampa Simpson has been arrested. He was a Mafia Goon.

And with that, this harrowing ordeal is over. Springfieldians young and old can rest assured knowing that the perpetrators of this heinous deed have been brought to justice. And as for those who were abducted or otherwise harmed over the course of this investigation, they were eventually recused by... oh, let's say Moe.

Town has won. Congratulations, and thank you all for playing.
