Rules & Mechanics

-Day phases will be 48 hours. Night phases will be approximately 24 hours.
-The player with the most votes in the poll will be eliminated at the end of each Day 1. Votes must be cast in the poll to count, but players are also encouraged to call their votes via [VOTE: vote tags] aubergine in the thread. Votes are always chageable.
-The thread will be LOCKED at night.
-Roleclaiming and infodumping are legal.
-Note that there is absolutely no connection between characters and their roles/alignments. All roles were assigned to characters/players at random.
-If a role is blocked on a night that it attempts to perform an action, the shot will be counted as though it had gone through. Roleblocks resolve before all other night actions.
-Any questions about the rules or mechanics should be sent to the Host privately.
-Try to avoid identifying yourself or forcing other players to identify themselves. Speculation about the identities of players is permissible, but you may not claim an identity or make any requests that another player do so.
-Please refrain from any excessive appeals to emotion or any other behavior which might compromise the integrity of the game.
-This is the Host color. Please try to avoid using it.
-This is Off-Topic (OT) green. Non-game content should be posted in this color.
-This is Dead red. Dead players should avoid posting anything on-topic, but if they do post, it should be in this color.
-This is Non-player blue. Non-players should also avoid posting anything on-topic, but may use this color if they do post.

Springfield Police are on the case and have narrowed it down to a pool of fifteen suspects who were known to have been in the vicinity of the squirrel at the time of the attack. Police Chief Wiggum is not ruling out an organized conspiracy by an outraged confederacy of Lincoln Squirrel-deniers.

If I may speak from the heart to the killers: Your heinous acts will not go unpunished. We will find you, and we will punish you accordingly. Springfield is only strengthened by your actions.
