Target someone every day. If they're The Right Person, they will die immediately (works like a day vig, day continues on as normal after the death). If your target is not The Right Person, nothing will happen.

You are town, and you win when all the mafia are eliminated.

You're a punk gang member. You start the game out of thread. You cannot vote until you are brought into the game. Until you are brought into the thread you share a PT with the rest of the Punk Gang. The other members of the gang are NOT guaranteed to be town.

You are town, and you win when all the mafia are eliminated.

TSP:

Blood Thirsty Mercenary:

Every night you will receive an order. This order will be either Lethal or Non-Lethal. If it is a Lethal order you will be informed of who it's intended to target, and you can choose whether to carry out the order or not. If it is a Non-Lethal order you will be able to choose both the target and whether to carry out the order. Lethal orders will remove your target from the game for an amount of time, and Non-Lethal orders will have an unknown effect. In addition, you have a one shot bulletproof vest. There are certain roles this may not apply to.

Alison:

Secretly a Rockstar

You target someone each night. If you target a specific person, you will gain an ability (you will be told what the ability is if/when you gain it).

You are mafia. You do not know your partners but you do know that there are three more mafia in the game. In addition, you control the kill on even nights.

There's some more mech stuff I haven't revealed and will do so, but I don't want to keep people waiting any longer than necessary.

The "twist" so to speak to this game is that it's based on the kind of crappy American Dirk Gently TV show with Elijah Wood, if you've seen the show then the flavor and mechanics will likely/hopefully make sense to you! If not, it's a mediocre adaptation (with a couple bright spots tbf) of a Douglas Adams story.

I was done with it to i was out of line at parts and i appolgize as i said in Punk chat i knew it was them but knew i would never be able to convince the town among them.

Oooh fuck, I could have been outed based on my fake flavor here, if someone knew the story. The reason I claimed a fake flavor was that I was afraid that someone had a note saying something like "Secretly a Rockstar is the lost wolf", which seemed plausible to me, and I didn't think this setup had an actual flavor to call me out on so I made something up.

I had it brewing in my mind that I wanted to claim motion detector as a fakeclaim for a while now because I think it's a fakeclaim nobody ever uses so it might be believable. Except that was a pretty boring role for this game, so I added some small twists to make it look realistic. The Nemesis thing was because I was playing MTG and saw True-Name Nemesis and went "oh, cool, I'll add a Nemesis to my role claim, that might make it look a bit in line with Thesis/Antithesis stuff and The Right Person stuff".

TSP's role did not work on LC, Sloonei, Nutella, the punk gang, or Marmot

The punk gang couldn't block each other, if they tried to target Marmot, sloonei, or nutella the block would have had no effect.

Enrique handed out a wand on N1, if poison targeted either the person that started the night with the wand (enrique) or the person he handed it to (nutella) on n1, or nutella moving forward (or if enrique had handed it out to her), Enrique and her would've received a PT and a shared roleblock.

The comprehensive detective results depending on target are as follows:

Comprehensive Detective: told of the existence of PotU
Loyal Sidekick: get a mason chat with the Loyal Sidekick
Punk Gang: told of the presence of the Punk Gang PT, and that they have the ability to collectively roleblock someone. This counts as a feeding for the Punk Gang.
Comprehensive Assassin: both parties are told of the other’s existence.
Time Travelling Steampunk: Detective receives the same piece of the setup that TTS does if it’s an even night, or the most recent one they received if it’s an odd one. If N1, they receive the same one as D2.
Assassin’s Helper: told there’s a lost wolf (or a second lost wolf if already targeted Rock Star)
Rock Star: told there’s a lost wolf (or a second lost wolf if already targeted Assassin’s Helper)
Dimwitted: told how many town are currently alive
Mercenary: redcheck on Mercenary
PDC: told how many mafia the game starts with
Magic Man: told how many PTs exist in the game at the time (excluding PotU)
Insane Apprentice: told how many PTs could possibly exist (including PotU)
Paranoid Badass: told how many roleblocks currently exist in the game

Alison's thing was that if she targeted mac she would've gained the ability to swap roles with anyone alive.

Yeah, that was a pretty good use of a roleblock. I tried to swing it in my favor by arguing that it clears me/TSP from being a team because the town thought the same wolf would carry the kill every night, but that never panned out.

They basically just dictated target for TSP, and then he could choose whether to pull the trigger or not.

This game felt really swingy, the town played very good at times (blasting away 2 mafia D1, roleblocking the nightkill three times in a row) and very bad at times (quickhammering Quin without letting them speak for no reason, voting themselves in F5). I'm glad the pendulum ended up swinging our way but I do think that the game could have easily gone their way if some small stuff had changed.

In the Part of the Universe chat if I saw someone a spectator say something along the lines of "I'm a wolf" or whatever I'd message them and tell them to try and vote for scum, if they did and scum were targeted then the mafia targeted got some form of good thing. For example when Alison was targeted she was told that sloonei visited her, although I believe that's the night Sloonei died so it didn't turn out to be relevant.

I'm lost. What does "out of the thread" mean? Are they not allowed to read the thread, or just not allowed to post/vote? (I assume the latter because it's much easier to enforce.) Are they in the playerlist or a separate category? Because if they're in the playerlist we should just have everyone check in to see who's missing and out of the thread.

I like LC jumping on a perceived slip. It's not a real slip, but being attentive to scumslips is townie (mafia know exactly who the mafia are most of the time and don't care) and the way he handled it doesn't look like scum trying to drum up suspicion based on a poor choice of wording.

Breadcrumbed lost wolf, because the main wolves knew I existed (I checked with nanook) so I wanted to soft lost wolf to them so they wouldn't nightkill me by accident. Had a heart attack when Sloonei's note came out because I thought someone would catch the soft now that they knew a lost wolf was in the game.

Honestly, I didn't expect there to be info leaking that there was a lost wolf in the game. I never would have softed so brazenly if it wasn't for that. I thought it would be the kind of thing where you would only catch it if you were main wolf and knew there was a lost wolf.

I killed you N2 because you were obvious town by that point and I thought you would probably get there on me. It was tough because nutella was a dayvig but I felt you were a better kill at the end of the day.
