the strongman only blocks one heal, not two

also the lost soft was an actual coincidence, I was killed N1, but since I'm the traitor I got recruited instead

You were on fire nutella. I figured the way things were going, I had no other option but to bus every single one of my teammates and cross my fingers that'd be enough towncred for myself and Alison.

Another note, there was also a point in the game where there were three mafia alive, but one was a traitor and one was a mastermind, making for a very difficult numbers game to work with.

You will join a chat with the player who can choose to accept your help *SECRETS* After making an offer, the BTSC will stay open as long as you are alive. -Tier 1: ”Role Block another player” (Role block another player)
-Tier 2: ”Swap places with a player” (swap received visits with the target
-Tier 3: ”Kill or Protect any player” (Targeted player is killed/protected and vanished for the next day phase)

None of these actions can affect yourself and will nullify if you are targeted. Should they choose a bargain, they will have a debt to you which you collect the following night in the form of:
-Player has their vote reduced to Zero.
-Player receives all targets meant for you.
-Kill the player
You do not have to share these options. Should a player use the tier 3 option, they will flip as “Consumed by Greed” and you gain an extra life. This only works once.

In fact, town in general played so well to start this game off. I don't think I've ever seen a game before where not a single townie was dead going into Day 3, and there were 2 mafia and a 3p dead at that point. Yes there were some missteps with townies wanting to play hero in the midgame, but that didn't overall ruin their chances to win even if it hurt them a little.

There were just some mechanics that were never quite solved. I don't know if they could've been solved, but you guys did get really close.


We got insanely lucky that LC picked Alison first, and that she was also the traitor, and that we also killed her N1 and gained her into chat.

We also got lucky that we killed off the real other 3P, so that role was available for me to claim.

I usually think of myself as a townsiding 3p, but recent experiences have led me to the 'underdog-siding' 3p position. Of course, it depends on what my Win Condition situation is, of course.

I had to kiss Alison's ass when I thought she was town, and I thought I would teach her a lesson for daring to dream that she could control a mighty demon - after I had used her enough to get my Win Condition. But then, something changed - the baddies were getting their asses kicked, and Alison was the Lost Wolf! She and Thundercat immediately had my sympathies - especially when The Obliterator, their most powerful weapon, was defused before deployment.

I didn't really do much... I added my voice to the already-majority opinion that TC was indeed 3p. And when I was forced into a Kingmaker position that I really didn't ask for, who do I side with? Joe Who, who never really bothered to show? nutella, who treated me like some sort of power dispensary, to be accessed when the mood strikes? :pout: Nay, 'twas the Mafia that gave me a home, 'twas Mafia that orchestrated and protected my win!

It would have been dishonourable to make any other choice, I'm sure anyone would agree.

Suck on what? As i said the role doesnt make sense to be 3p considering how sprityo made the other two 3ps

Game was pretty scumsided, it was 16 vs 9 but with two mafia having two lives it was de facto 16 vs 11

Also this is the second time i rand cop and there is specifically another role in the game that is designed to fool me and no one else (last time in philosophers mafia, a godfather existed only for me)

I dont rly like being lied to lol, my mafia philosophy is very different. My role says that i can see all secrets but i didnt see all secrets about marmot's role. Its fine to not tell me all secrets but i would have worded/designed it differently so u dont have to lie to ur players about what their role does

Like if my role said "see all secrets unless some of those secrets are specifically designed to not be seen by you" - then thats fine, then im not being lied to about what my role does

technically it's not a strongman kill then, the way most people refer to strongman kill is a kill that is unstoppable. from what i read your implementation was a 2 KP kill. i think it would be correct to call it that (2 Kill Power kill) and not a strongman kill

Realistically I could have not revealed marmot ever having the strongman since it was never actually used that’s another big reason why I made that addendum among other things to the mafia teams role

When you look at the setup the town is heavily beefed out with investigations and protection roles not including 3P meddling

Mafia had no means of extra kills, piercing protection, or overall fooling the town outside of their poster role of obliterator who they had to work against as well

All things considered the game went as smoothly as it could’ve I think and town 100% could’ve won that but like many people have said I think the hang up end game came down to everyone trying to mechanically solve with claims in a game where there are hidden roles in each alignment

That being said tutuu was realistically a role cop that only worked on mafia which was an oversight by me. And she nailed 2 mafia! Very good deductions.

My biggest disappointment by far though was having to replace the titular threat to the entire setup not once but twice

Also losing poison/MR early skewed the threat level way down in general

Imagine 2 extra dead players a night on top of normal shenanigans

I had a more interesting claim prepared to add to my wincon for being a survivor, but never needed to say it.

"You are a survivor, you must survive until the end of the game. Additionally you must be lynched/killed at least once, and you must also participate in the killing of a townie, mafia, and 3P role."


Was Made the other real 3P? I'm curious what his role was, it looks like they were an Angel of sorts.

I appreciate the apology but also i would have done the same thing. I'm pretty I went as far in our btsc as suggesting betraying us at least once or twice.

the most important thing in mafia beyond glory is to make things as weird as possible with no exceptions, i will always stand by that.

well okay maybe that's dishonest. winning is better, but watching some weird bullshit is a close second, so long as it's interesting, and so long as the game doesn't just suddenly stall at lylo for some reason
