I mean what was more likely, the fact that SoA and MM were both lying despite MM hard bussing the most experienced player in the Mafia D2 or the fact that Paopan was just lying?

Oh well, I'm not upset about this one. Paopan made a play on D2 that any player with more than 5 games would get instantly killed for, and in the end, we lost cause we didn't properly consider what the bastard mechanic was.

Yeah, I think everyone just got too heated to take a step back and properly look at all the information laid out.
But honestly I think SoA should probably have been considered town off the fact that his results didn't seem obviously faked.
I'm like 90% sure a Mafia Oracle would intentionally mislead the Town with the results, but he was getting semi useful to usleess results.

I know I didn't put effort in until the final phase, that was planned, as I knew my role would clear me then, and would be useful in a lylo situation.

The thing I didn't consider is that the bastard component would be the "sane" part, and the rest would be true. I figured either the statement was either entirely true or false.
