Marmot is able to confirm what ring I used on n1, since I just gave it to him. Quenta, this ring was openly claimed by me and it also led to the only reason we killed wolves. Think about my play as a wolf if I have that ring. I'm able to pick my partner HK as a wolf, who if town doesn't get to reach majority, my wolves get a free town killed. There'd never be a reason for me to have claimed I have that ring, nor use it the way I did.

I've received every message and also confirmed the message that has been going around.

Last night my actions also will lead to a wolf dying or being cleared from Poe.

I know doom doesnt want me giving free info to wolves, but full disclosure is that I made no night action n3 because I have 0 (zero) rings. I passed the one I had n2. to osie (squimish about this decision after day 3). I'm absolutely chilling, and have little idea of what some of these group mechanics regarding rings and targets is going on.

I do not believe that you deep-bussing is outside of your wolf-range. That said, I do believe that you would be just as likely to openly choose to not involve yourself with claims and confirms regardless of alignment.

Behaviourally, I do think you are town.

Mechanically, you haven't been a guaranteed confirm town at any point this game, so you're still in the PoE, albeit a lower concern than any of the people who seem more likely to be scum (Porscha/Scotty primarily)

my guess is that - unless there is a confirmed group in discord, which it doesnt seem like there is - that when the convo about the fruit started, people just started talking about fruit. I almost started talking about fruit not knowing it was some game mechanic. If there is no outside of forum mechanic to confirm what people received a fruit, I can almost guarantee there are people who just started talking about fruit with absolutely no idea it was a game mechanic, and now they are getting cleared.

I’m more of a clementine guy myself

scotty says he’s a clementine guy in response to martin’s post. This fruit was already claimed by martin. Scotty follows up by saying he didnt know icaco wasn’t on the list.

I once bought a jar of elderberry vinegar when looking for some non-alcoholic elderflower flavouring.

begins day 4 with first post about elderberry. Gets no responses. Also strangly claims scotty seems semi-cleared by andres flip but I don’t know why it makes scotty anymore town anybody else who voted off andres, like myself. Osie then pings 3 other "confirmed" players (not moonwink, however, in addition to having screen who made no post about fruit) to accuse doom as being on the same level of wolf as me or scotty which is outlandish as I mentioned above on doom.

srceenplay - no post with fruit.
NotAnAxehole - hasn’t posted at all in day 4.
Creature - hasn’t posted at all in day 4.

DaughterOfOmega - speaks about the fruit mechanic, does not post their fruit. Speaks multiple times how they think the mechanic is untrustworthy, but is obviously aware of the mechanic early on and this implies that doom did receive the message without posting fruit. Osie ignores this and puts doom in poe anyway.
Porscha - doenst know what the broom is going on in regards to a fruit mechanic and is mad about getting targeted for it because of the reasons listed above and below.


Osie, here's my take. I can tell you the mechanic didn't work the way you say it did, because I'm not wolf but still did not receive a fruit message. There are 3 players who haven't posted at all, and screen did not make a fruit post (understandably they may be cleared via other means from earlier in game, but 100% has not referenced a fruit).

jack at least seems in on the fruit mechanic immediately when they refuse to play along with martin's clementine post. + called out scotty's mistake on clementine + secret code post. cleared in this way, which I also believe doom to be cleared in a similar manner.

screen made no post about fruit and did not reference the mechanic whatsoever. uncleared via fruit mechanic, but gets pinged by osie as if confirmed by fruit mechanic with martin and marmot (forgets moonwink tho.)

I'll tell you how you should read me right now: I dumb effing idiot who doesn't understand what's going on, and making zero attempts to fit in and fly under the radar as a wolf looking to get cleared. I hope the time I put into this post helps general morale about my interest in the game.
I agree with doom that mechanic is likely unreliable based on the scuffed, misplayed mechanic that occurred earlier in the game as well. And you'd rather put me higher in your POE than the players who have straight up not posted today all together, which I don't think is a good way of going about this.

yeah that makes sense but in the couple games I've played on here, this tactic in similar situations did not work out well for me. I usually was never able to clear myself by insisting someone else was mafia

There does exist two niche mechanical ways this might be the case (really just one, since I know that a third way does not apply, and one of those ways involves Urist being relatively deceitful) but I'mma wait in part for other confirms and Scotty's flip, mainly because I think it is extremely unlikely due to Scotty's behaviour.

Jack, Martin, Marmot, Moonwink, Wilgy, and Srceenplay are fully confirmed. (Osie method)

I am pseudo-confirmed twice over. Doom is pseudo-confirmed twice over. (Osie method, Moonwink method)

I did miss a bit on individual confirms: Porscha and dunya are pseudo-confirmed once over. (Moonwink method) NAA is pseudo-confirmed once over. (By claim)

With consideration of subjective believability, that puts me at this for an ordered PoE:

Scotty
Creature/Porscha
NAA
dunya
(Doom)

There's enough confirmed town that even if that full PoE applies, it doesn't matter, and if any of Creature/Doom/dunya/NAA properly confirms, that narrows it down further. Doom is probably just town here anyways, and I doubt that scum Doom or scum dunya wins in XyLO at this point anyways.

There's still the possibility of an extra kill occurring, which makes things tighter.

However, if Creature, dunya, and/or NAA use the Osie-confirm (which even if Porscha is telling the truth still would apply, even in the awkward corner case), that lowers the PoE by one for each confirm.

And it's arguably bad for scum to kill outside of the fully confirmed list.

We'll see.
