Fortunately the host accounted for that in the rules, the Jester's vote counts for 0 in a tie in F4 (and only F4, not F3), if the Jester is not one of the players being elimmed.

So the Jester can't play Kingmaker in the situation you described, which is nice.

They had found letters in his house that suggested orders given to the mafia, a number of weapons and a set of old looking fedoras and suits, the kind a mafia boss would wear. Besides, "great and fearsome"? What kind of person boasts that title besides the most horrible criminal?

They took the man to the execution platform, and out his neck on the gallow. The crowd surrounded him, waiting to see another execution, just like they had seen his goon's yesterday. They cut the rope, and his head hanged.

But then, it turned out just the head was hanging. And it was actually a mask, with the man himself slipping out of it, as some kind of magic trick. And as soon as they looked to him, they saw the worst visage ever. A clown.

He ran away, laughing, telling dumb jokes, and pressing his own nose to make funny noises.

They would soon find out the weapons in his house were fake ones who shot confetti, the letters were all fake too and the suits had been rented the previous night. After that, the real gofather said "screw it, this town is dumb" and left. The villagers, demoralized, went back home to watch TV. The town would never recover their pride again after that ridiculous day.

Nanook (Jester) was killed.
