I'm so glad you are able to join us for our biggest meet up yet! You know, it's funny - all these years of playing this silly, awful, wonderful game on the internet, and you do end up becoming quite good friends.

The castle? Oh, it's quite cheap to rent a castle actually. Well, at least in this part of the world. There are so many old, dilapidated castles in France, you wouldn't believe it. Just be a little bit careful as you step inside, I don't know how long these chandeliers will hold. Yeah, maybe just make a semi circle and step around them. Did you get to see Paris at all? Oh, of course, you're just here for the meet up. Well, we're all waiting for you in the dining room. It's not really a dining room, but we brought some snacks.

Actually, we were just about to play a game of mafia, how exciting, right!? It's my first time playing with these people in real life. I just know it'll be great. If there's anyone I trust to take a game of mafia seriously, it's these good folks here. We might even do some role-play. I mean, we'll see how drunk we get. Oh, you brought wine, right in front of me. Role-play it is then!

Ok. Is everyone ready? Let's rand the roles and start the game! Who knows, maybe some of us will die in real life? Hahahahaha. Joking. Totally joking.

This is a mostly closed setup for 18 players.

There will be a town faction.
There will be a mafia faction.
There will be one or more third parties.

Role claiming and character claiming is allowed.
Neither roles or characters are linked to alignment, but randomly distributed among factions.
All kinds of roles may exist, but the game is not considered bastard.

The player with the most votes at the end of each day will be eliminated. If there is a tie, the elimination will be randed among the tied players.
There will be a posting requirement of at least 10 posts per game day. Failure to meet the requirements will lead to prodding, forced replacement or mod kill.

ur right I dont, i work better with meta, but, I will gravitate towards the people who feel like they are trying to force their entrances, because I think that's when mafia are at their weakest

I am telling the truth about my role incentivizing not voting in all worlds because it is a silly thing to lie about and would directly sabotage me for no gain.

The not voting thing is NAI as it is something that can conceivably be given to any alignment.
