This game is non standard and possibly experimental. I think it'll be fun tho. The host won't lie to you but mechanics might.

Host rules:
don’t be a dick, no excessive ATE*, don’t angleshoot or quote role PMs and/or host and/or private communication, follow site rules, GM will handle everything without consideration for alignment, GM reserves the right to modify remove or add rules as needed.
*defined as: statements that directly say or imply that something in the game is having a negative impact on someone’s out of game relationships or well-being. if you believe the game is having a negative impact on your life and/or your health, please pm me on here or on discord (clemj/Nanook#8937). If you believe someone is engaging in excessive AtE, please message me here or on discord. This system relies entirely on stuff being reported to me. If you feel the need to vent and/or if you feel someone has crossed the line, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
Voting:
It only counts if it's in the poll. Player with the most votes when the poll locks dies. Ties are broken by the mafia. Fx is not announced. Votes do not lock at Fx.
Inheritance mechanic (DO NOT SKIP THIS ONE I SWEAR TO GOD):
Role Inheritance:
When a player dies, their role can be inherited. When a player is voted out, the inheritance will go to a random player on their wagon. When a player is NKed, the mafia will be allowed to choose whether to discard the role or assign it to one of their own.
Voted out: player full flips at eod. Inheritance choice is given to a random player on wagon. If they accept the inheritance it replaces their prior role. If they decline the inheritance is discarded. It is not announced whether inheritance was accepted or not.
NKed: only alignment flips. Mafia have until 24 hours into the day to decide whether to accept or discard inheritance. Any member can accept it. At 24 hour mark the prior night’s flip is updated–inheritance if declined, with swapped role if accepted. It is announced which decision was made.
Design note:
All roles were written pre rand. The mafia team was randed, then roles were randed. There is one and exactly one role in this game that could only be town aligned, the rest of the roleset is not ai.
