This is the Battle of the Bands Mafia.

During the Day phase, you will vote on the person you want to be eliminated. You will also submit via PM to me one Youtube / bandcamp / soundcloud / etc. link in the event that you are put into the Battle of the Bands showdown. You do not have to change links if you are not nominated (i.e., up for elimination). There is also a strict rule against identifying or hinting about what your possible track is or isn't, as that goes against the spirit of the competition.

The top two (or three or four, etc.) will go into the Night round. They must participate in the Battle of the Bands. Anyone nominated who failed to send a playable link will be eliminated by default. During the Night phase, the nominated players will be restricted from posting (because you're performing, duh!). The audience will discuss and vote on the music (a vote means, "I like this track and want this person to stick around"). When the Night is over, the loser will be eliminated. The winner(s) will receive a trophy that grants an ability for the next round.

Also during the Night phase, the crooked poser judges will kick someone else out of the competition!

This is open to any number, but I can't start until after 2024 gets rolling.

As an intriguing note, the trophies you can win for surviving nomination?

Well, they're actually certificates. We can't afford trophies for every band that wins a round.

But the prize printed on each certificate will be related to the track with which you win.

Everyone starts out vanilla. The only powers are the ones you earn winning competitions at Night.

So no, there will be no requirements regarding submissions of music (other than adhering to Syndicate rules in general).
