Well I find it annoying that people are voting the Spectators option, despite the host having said we aren't allowed to do so, and next pretending I'm the wrong one for saying it's illegal.

Seems silly to be annoyed that I did something over 12 hours before the host asked people not to do it and then pretend that I did it directly in defiance of the host. But, you know, whatever you gotta do to feel like you're catching scum I guess.

i started playing mafia in 2009 on a community called Px2. OldManMog was there when i started playing, and had been there since its earlier incarnation when it was called MPFG (i think). Px2 shut down when the WotC forums did, and people moved to a forum called NGA. Mafia there is mostly dead right now, but i think this is where i met abi? I eventually started playing on a forum called zelda dungeon which was the home forum of a friend of mine and thats where i met killjoy and raiden, that was probably 4 or 5 years ago now? OldManMog plays there sometimes too. Most of the games i play now are probably on zelda dungeon, though if i had to choose a forum to be my home forum i'd probably say NGA. lain is a friend of mine and this is faer second game of mafia, although fae might have some experience somewhere else.

It absolutely does. For KJ to know that Cait was doing an RVS vote would require knowing the type of player Cait is. Without that knowledge it's very plausible for KJ to assume Cait was voting seriously and ask about RVS. Cait, on the other hand, feels like her vote was obvious RVS and that should have answered KJ's question before he asked it and used that for the basis of claiming his intro post was awkward. But realistically that foundation doesn't exist. I'm pretty sure I saw you quote and question Caitlin's original vote, so I have to assume you can see that it's not an obvious RVS vote as well. If that's the case, wether you think KJ's intro post seemed off for other reasons or not, you could at least agree that it wasn't obvious Caitlin was RVS'ing and her using that as the basis for her vote would be opportunistic. With that said, I don't think it's outside the norm for town to take opportunities when they arise, so that's not like a smoking gun. Probably not even a warm gun. Just something to take note of as all things are being considered.

Simply put, they'd have to come up with a reason. Storm, for KJ, was going nowhere. He's basically the only person KJ leveled any suspicion at all day. Lowest effort for a maf!KJ would be to vote storm. Voting looks better than not voting. Pretty basic stuff.

I made a legit vote after he called me out for said RVS comment after the fact that things went from joking to serious due to Daitlin calling me out for asking about RVS AND making the RVS vote which is why I later made a legit vote against Storm. Are there any other things I said that could count?

Currently I'm most suspicious of KJ and Falcon. KJ for the push on storm. Early game I feel like that is probably crutch, they are both from the same home forum. But I explained why I could see scum!KJ sticking that landing. I also feel like they are a touch defensive about my switch yesterday, trying to cast it in a disparaging light because it happened late day. Except it was reactionary to the other late day votes that were thrown, specifically storm's silent self vote. Falcon, I feel, is just nicely paired with KJ. While I wouldn't say falcon has hard defended KJ, they have been trying to sow doubt on the idea of a maf KJ and throwing shade on Caitlin who was actively voting KJ most of D1. Given KJ hasn't really done anything to land themselves on the upper echelons of a reads list, this seems notable.

My tinfoil pick is Roxy though. With the tinfoil being mafs!Roxy inquired into everybody's connections in order to off the player most likely to be widely readable for town. KJ/Falcon team seems much more plausible though.

okay, i think i understand your explanation. you were initially joking with your vote for storm but his reaction to it made you legitimately suspicious so you voted him for real. from another perspective, it still looks like you were pushing storm from the start though. although, i voted for him early too. to me his first post or 2 read as awkward and from the game i played with him where he was scum he seems like he sometimes self-destructs under pressure so i wanted to see how he would react. i'm realizing now that that may not be a good way to get a read on him. I guess, given that storm said that you've tried to kill him in every game so far, it isn't necessarily AI? have you played with him before where he was town? reading back, ragnarokio voted roxy d1 and was killed. roxy's posts after me and caitlin voted for falcon were clearly trying to take the heat off of them, but ig that could be town behavior as well if she thought they were also town. to me, falcon/killjoy and falcon/roxy both seem plausible.
