I was hoping to get more controversial statements out of you, but otherwise you did great. You'd make a good politician.

BWT:
Which of the elements do you most identify with, earth, air, water, or fire?
Should the United States abolish the penny? Why or why not?
Favorite type of cheese?
I've never thought about that question. So I guess my answer is none of them. Now if I could have mastery over one of them, I would definitely go with water.

Yes. Given that the cost of paper currencies has been deflated severely, and has lead to the cost of creating pennies exceed their value, I would abolish the penny. Unless of course we had another type of metal on hand we could use to manufacture pennies from and it was cost-effective. Also, you should have known what my answer would be. :P

It's a close tie between blue (gorgonzola specifically) and goat cheese.

You had me at Dark Chocolate. I had to lookup Buckeyes and they sound amazing. Your other answers make me feel old. I think Ace of Base was my first album.

Ok adding more.

What is your favorite sea creature?

Not really. We're all heading down that path as it is. :P Although I would prefer it be later rather than sooner, since I'm only 24.

Heights for sure.

I would probably travel the country to different conventions/seminars related to new inventions or products. And I'd pick out which ones I felt had a decent chance of success and become an angel investor for those types of projects. So in other words, I would quit working for a grocery store, yes.

I'd say I do believe in God. However, I reject organized religion and I probably come closer to Deism in terms of how I view God than any other religion.

I think there are people at are compatible with each other, but I don't believe in cliches like "love at first sight" or "soul mates". Too many fish in a big pond for me to believe that one.

As for monogamy, for myself personally, I do. I think a relationship with one woman is difficult and time-consuming enough as it is that I have no clue how anyone could have the time to handle more than one other significant other. However, if other people would wish to have that, and no one is being harmed as a result of it, I don't have an issue with people preferring/wanting polygamy.

Anything spicy. Loooooooooove spicy food.

My routine doesn't usually change any on rainy days. So nothing out of the ordinary.

Somehow I knew you were going to ask me about Skyline lol. I think I like it so much because it's a very unique recipe and taste for chili, and it's not one most people enjoy unless they grew up relatively close to Cincinnati and had access to them.

I wouldn't be a clown. They terrified me as a little kid, and I wouldn't want to bring that fear to other children. If I was a WWE wrestler, you know my name would be avian-related. I like The Falconer. Has a nice ring to it.

Heck yes I will! Although I like the summer Olympics more. I swam competitively for almost 10 years until the end of high school, and that's the main reason I like the Summer Games more.

See? You got an extra fact about me out of that one!

I have a dream....that one day my four children.....oh wait, wrong dream.

My ultimate dream is to have a successful career climbing as high as I can in my company, then find the right woman, get married, settle down, and have 2 or 3 kids. For a more personal one, I would someday love to build my own recording studio and just sit around, learn to play as many instruments as I could, and record all different types of music. That might not happen until I retire but I can live with it.

Music, hanging out with family and friends, work actually does for the most part, but it's more because of my very likely promotion this year. When I get to actually be large and in charge! :D

Grow up? I think I should learn and mature, but why do I have to "grow up"? I refuse to do so! :P

Well right now, it's everything covered in snow. And I love looking at snow, so that would be my answer.

Maybe I should turn some of these around on you. And here you thought you were done being asked questions. ;)

"Bird Flu: The Tale of a Fowl Making His Way in the World" (Yes, that's fairly bad. And I would probably change/re-work that).

I don't get lunch breaks at work. But when I do have time to take a break, it's usually on Facebook or catching up on mafia.

If I could go back to any period in time, it would be Ancient Rome if that's any indication.

Heck yes I am!

Was Tennant, but after his last season, I'd have to go with Smith.

Donna for sure.

I've seen most of the ones on Netflix and a few others, but I'm no expert on it yet. I do know Four is my favorite from the classic period.

Probably the 50th anniversary. It did so well making nods to classic and current Who.

Food. :P

I'm a beer guy, but generally stouts and ales are my favorites. I love trying new beers though. Non-alcoholic would be lemonade.

Music

Spending time with people I care about. I also get a lot of enjoyment out of giving presents and gifts to those people.

Lots of places. Germany and Italy would be my first two choices.

Too many to count now. But probably the one where I got to meet Devin Townsend will always have a special place in my heart.

Talking Heads and Frank Zappa

Too many to count. I know I'll get to see Cloudkicker in April which was one I thought would never tour. Maybe Katatonia and Pain of Salvation would be next on the list. (Edit: DUH DREAM THEATER I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT! *self-flagellates*)

I started playing bass for a few months, but dropped it because I got too busy. So none really.

Drums or violin. The first I don't think I would have the coordination for though.

What was it about this last season that pushed Smith up over Tennant for you?

(The hubby has the exact opposite view, he really liked the first Smith season, then has grown steadily disappointed in him.)

When I typed the question about the impossible to see bands, the first band that popped into my head was Zappa and the Mothers as well. :D

Have you seen this yet? http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01m3kfy

It's really quite funny and the cherry on top of the 50th Anniversary IMO.

I just think he got through all of the bad scripts he had (he had a lot of them) and got past Amy and Rory (which took long enough IMO, because I don't like Amy), and his last season had plenty of good scripts and plots and moments like this that really made him stand out a bit more:

(That's my favorite Matt Smith monologue btw)

I have not. I'll have to check it out after dinner.

What was the best btsc you ever had?

Do you think the healthcare overhaul would have worked better if they had cleaned up outlandish insurance charges and medical malpractice expenses and OTT hospital charges first?

Do you consider yourself a tree hugger? Do you care about nature and the effects Man has done to it?

Do you watch AHS Coven?

I completely missed the mad one. Sorry! I'm a horrible failure of a person. :(

I think I can be very impatient when it comes to either intellectual or work matters. Because I'm very intelligent and tend to pick things up quickly, and it frustrates me sometimes when others don't. Enough to make me angry. But I've been working on it more over the last few months and I'm getting much better.

I read Victor Wooten's autobiography after having owned it since the Christmas before last. I'm trying to figure out what to read next, but I have about 10 books on my Kindle I need to dig into...

Both. I have friends that I occasionally hang out with, go to parties, etc. that are either friends of friends or work friends. But I definitely spend more time with the few I'm really close with.

Jalapeno peppers. Although banana peppers and mushrooms are both a close second.

The most interesting thing about me that I don't think any of you would guess is that I skipped the eighth grade. The high school I went to requires everyone to skip either one or two grades. And yes, that does make some of the kids who graduate extremely young. Ask MP about that one, since he started college right after turning 16.

Although I was 17 and my birthday is in December, so it wasn't too much of a stretch.

Lol well I'm glad someone thinks so! I thought Bird With Teeth was a lame wrestler name tbh, so I tried to think of something else. But I might have to stick with Bird With Teeth now.

I'm perfectly fine with being called Teeth or Teefies, as Bea likes to do. I think it's an endearing nickname for me.

I've already met Devin Townsend, so I can rule him out. I would probably go with Miles Davis, Neil Peart, and Jacob Bannon. Miles because he was IMO the most important/influential musician of the 20th century after The Beatles, and the other two because I have a lot of respect for them as artists/musicians. Most likely I'd just shoot the breeze over a few beers or something similar.

Ron Paul or Neil Degrasse Tyson. The first because I have a lot of respect for him, and the second because he's the modern equivalent of Issac Newton. And I would love to pick his brain apart.

I think my favorite mafia role was in Electronic Mafia (can't remember who I was now, sadly). I remember having a grab bag of different night powers I could use (I think it cycled between extra lynch votes, a night protection, and something else). It was on FEW and it was the first game of mafia I ever won. We were a LMS indy team, and I was with Trice and DP. Trice got NKed on Night 1, so we thought we were in big trouble. But I know we recruited either you or SVS much later on, and we targeted DP for a kill while protecting him one night, which gave him massive civvie cred. I ended up getting lynched, but I know the other two survived until the end to win for our team.

My favorite BTSC was Sesame Street on TP. I was in the Electric Mayhem, and for some reason I only remember Daisy, mata, and rey being on my team, but there were 2 others. Our win condition was to survive to the end of the game, but we decided to take a civvie-oriented approach and side with them. I know someone on our team had the ability to gain BTSC for a night/day period with any other player of our choice, so we used that to identify civvies, let them know we were on their side, and hash out strategies with them. That was one of the best games I've ever played though, because I pretty much single-handedly led the charge against Chris, and he turned out to be the unlynchable baddie. I think we ultimately had to use the civ ninja to kill him because the other baddie team refused to. We ended up winning that one as well.

I think the ACA is an overall terrible idea, and does nothing to address ever-rising costs with health care in the U.S. I think there are several ways we could go about fixing the problem. To directly address your question, I think one of the best solutions I've come up with to address those issues is requiring health care providers (doctor's offices, hospitals, clinics, etc.) to publicly disclose their costs. That way you could more effectively shop around and determine where you're going to get the best care at the most affordable price. If you're interested in hearing some of my other ideas, I would be more than willing to disclose them. :)

I'll be careful with how I word this, because I've had it taken out of context on me before. Although I think my argument is more hash-out than it was originally. I'm not really any sort of tree-hugger or anything comparable. I'm probably closest to libertarianism, but even that's not a completely accurate description. As to the second part of your question, I think that anyone who owns/has access to private land (we could talk about the"ownership of land" idea in another topic entirely) and has the right to produces something using that land may use it however they see fit, so long as it doesn't cause harm to anyone else's property or any other person. That being said though, from an economic standpoint, it's quite foolish to be doing negative things to the environment that could have long-lasting repercussions for future generations and potentially hurt their economic growth. And I think educating others on such topics is an important step in the right direction there. Like my previous answer, if you'd like to know more about a certain aspect, feel free to ask away!

I do not. I've seen a few episodes of the first two seasons of AHS, but I usually have to be in the mood for horror to watch those kinds of movies or TV shows.

White socks, sweatpants, and my Snakes and Arrows '08 Tour shirt for Rush.

Grizzlies. They're fast, strong, and the worst possible one to mess with. I was watching a show on Alaska once on I think Discovery, and it was two brothers who were trying to get a bit more game from hunting before early winter set in. At one point they came across a mother grizzly and her cub a few hundred yards away and immediately hightailed it in the other direction. One of them mentioned that the only guaranteed way to take down a grizzly if it were to attack you is with either a high-powered hunting rifle or a shotgun, and that handguns for the most part won't do anything unless you get a lucky shot in the eyes. I found that slightly terrifying.

ACA while a nice idea has been done wrong imo. Disclosing costs is good it would make them take a second look at why 1 dose of tylenol costs $18 :p Not really wanting to get political just asking tbh I myself think everyone in Congress should return their paychecks and gtfo. They are all so worthless. Get someone in there that actually cares...which will never happen.

I agree people have a right to do things on their own property up to a point of it affecting neighbors like you say. Always glad to hear someone in the younger generation to appreciate the beauty around them (which I hope you do). It seems like you do but you were a bit slippery with your response - kind of like mafia :D

Yayayayayaay!!!! EMM was a total win!! You recruited me <3 best time and team ever. :feb: I believe I was last man standing for our team, MP would remember for sure, all I remember is how fun btsc was. So funny! I was civ bts team with LoRab, who I lied wickedly to :( then helped kill her and lynch Kate ftw! I was never happier to be recruited to a team.

Love your choices for the musicians. Miles Davis would be on my list as well.

One more I asked before but I think you mistook.

Who on the mafia sites would you most like to meet that you have not already?

Yeah, I think I mistook that one for something else. Or I misread it. As for anyone on mafia sites, I already know several people on here irl (MP, Boomslang, Russ, G.O.B., and Devin), but I wouldn't mind meeting bea, SVS, you, llama, Hedgeowl, Mongoose, Epig, and Elohcin. I'm sure I'm forgetting some but those were the first ones I thought of.

Yeah, I was trying to avoid being overtly political. But I wanted to answer your questions honestly. I am on the hot seat after all. :P

I kind of figured it was you. And yeah, DP being targeted for death and living, plus us recruiting you, were the main two reasons we won that game. Was tons of fun and I'm glad you were able to manipulate and kill off your civvie teammates. But everyone believed you so it worked out fine. :D

Teefies -

What sorts of interests do you have that we haven't talked about yet?
What sort of work do you do and/or want to do? (I actually think for as much as I do know about you, I don't know this. Or don't remember it.)
Do you consider yourself a good cook?
If yes, do you have a favorite dish to make?
If no, do you know how to at least make one meal to impress a girl with?
Speaking of girls.....anyone special in your life?

I'd say from starting college to now. So about 17-18 and onwards. It's nice to see the big life events start to unfold for me.

I don't drink soft drinks that often, but I do like it. I think Stewart's is the best root beer I've had though.

Sorry! Another example of how I'm a terrible person. :wall:

Dolphins because of their intelligence.

Elves. I wouldn't mind living for many millenia. But I would hate becoming attached to members of certain races (humans for example) since their lives are much shorter.

If I can't pick The Avengers (Marvel IS owned by Disney so I think it counts), then either Toy Story or The Lion King. Also, the last 2 were the first two movies I ever saw in a theater. With Toy Story, Sid scared my brother and I so much that we didn't want to finish the movie. But my dad talked us both into going back in because he said he really wanted to see the ending lol.

Which one is the most rebellious/anti-authoritarian. I don't know their personalities well enough to determine which that would be, so I wouldn't mind some help.

It's a 3-way tie between science fiction, historical fiction, and fantasy. Also, a lot of my favorite novels either have one of those mixed with strong political leanings or dystopian settings.

I love sports. Although I love studying the analytical/statistical side of football, basketball, and baseball. So I found a way to make it extremely nerdy. :P

Well right now, I work for Kroger as a section head (basically I'm an assistant department manager/lead position at my current store). My next step will hopefully be MD1, which is a 19-week training program that gets me into co-management/store management if I do well enough in it. But ultimately, I'd like to climb as high as I possibly can. So at least a director or VP slot, or better if I can. Wouldn't mind CFO or CEO honestly. :D

I'm still somewhat of a beginner. The most exotic thing I've made is grilled chicken in a white wine with steamed asparagus. As long as I have a cookbook or general instructions though, I can make some fairly good food. I just don't have a lot of experience with a variety of stuff yet.

I'll go with the no question then. I'd probably do my mom's 5-layer lasagna recipe with Caesar salad to impress a girl.

I do not right now, no. My last relationship ended back in August, and right now I'm just taking my time with it. I know that the right situation will present itself when the time is right. :) Although my ex loved spending money, so my wallet and bank account are definitely happier!

Haha, that was a good one.

What common mafia role is your favorite, and do you prefer being a baddie or a civ?

I read your answer about skipping a class. Does that school orient you to a certain field (like math, science and so) or does it educate you in a very broad manner, including arts, literature and humanities in general as well?
Do you find your intelligence wide scoped or more narrow and specific? How would you describe your way of thinking about things?

I'm sorry, but I'm extremely tired tonight. And I work early tomorrow, so the soonest I could finish off these questions is late tomorrow afternoon/early tomorrow evening. If possible, Daisy, would you be willing to give me the time tomorrow to answer the last few posts? Because I've really been enjoying this and don't want to leave anyone hanging. :)

It's more of a fairly broad scope. I would say it's more like a college-prep school than anything else. Also, it was a private, Catholic school, which probably contributed to it.

I think I can have fairly good discussions on a wide variety of topics. I tend to get fairly nerdy with most of them. I have a fairly analytical mind, and I always think and plan ahead before making an important decision.

I can't think of one at the moment I would change in any way. Usually by the end of the movie, I know if I think it's a good movie or not, so the ending either just makes it that much better or that much worse.

I would say anything breaststroke was my specialty. I had a very well-developed upper chest then which gave me more powerful strokes, and I always had really good form. I couldn't go straight on backstroke for the life of me though, so that was my worst stroke by far. As for events, I think the longest I ever did was 800 Free a couple of times, but otherwise, the most I ever did was 200 (fill-in-the-blank) or 400 IM. So a bit of everything that was more sprint-oriented.

I was originally birdwithteeth when I joined Prog Archives. At some point I ended up changing it to horsewithteeth, but I felt like since I was bird originally, it would be best if I was a bird with playing mafia.

It still gets me on the Animal Sanctuary Squad either way though. :D
