Day 0
Image

The sea! The smell of the crisp salt air awakens your nostrils as you step onto the docks. Excitement is mixed with anxiety as you survey the multitude of vessels, all abuzz with activity as burly sailors load them with kegs and crates. The voyage ahead will be fraught with danger, but the adventures you are sure to have will make it all worthwhile.

The harbor master approaches, chewing a weathered pipe as he addresses your motley group.

“You’re late,” he grumbles. “You were supposed to have been aboard and underway twenty minutes ago. Other ships need the space, you know.”

Muttering a hasty apology, you glance down the docks past a long row of ships of every shape and size. Now if you could only remember, which one had you chartered?
You have 24 hours to vote.

Day 1
Image

Unable to agree on a ship, the group eventually settled on a clumsy chimera that resembled all, and yet none of the options under discussion, while at the same time slipping into a less unwieldy third-person narrative.

Having settled that little matter, in a trice they were off! The wind blew fair as the ship, ungainly though it was, shot out of the harbor and into the endless, rolling blue.

For a while, all was well, but ocean madness is a swift and cruel mistress, and it did not take long for paranoia and suspicion to arise among the crew.

“Who’s been stealing my potatoes?” demanded Epignosis.

“Who’s been stealing my turnips?” groused Turnip Head.

“Why would anyone want to steal a potato or a turnip,” said Hedgeowl and Mongoose in unison. “It be the bloody flesh of animals that we crave!”

It was at this point that it was decided that someone should be made to walk the plank.

You have 24 hours to lynch someone.

I'm just chilling in my goddamn submarine, sipping a pina colada, playing Civ 5 on my computer and absentmindedly torpedoing whales.

No Rapture, but I did come across some kind of poster for a city in the sky called Columbia. Sounds ridiculous...

Aye.

We've not raised the coinage to go thither as yet...if it did exist. :(

I'm suspicious of everyone who's got a bigger boat than me. But I'm mainly suspicious of Kate, because her boat seems the biggest.

Not really anything to go on, so I'm voting for the player with the least amount of posts, which is Hedgeowl. Sorry.

Ties will result in a death of some sort (assuming no protections for both parties). That is all I am willing to say on the matter.

Taking the low poster route I see! :evileye: but seriously there is nothing to go on right now. Micromafia feels like a game of chance. Since we have a short time left and I may need to save myself I'll wait a bit. So I will either vote Epi to save myself or INH for personal reasons. :srsnod:

This be how things work, methinks.

A scallywag votes Alfie.

Another scallywag votes Bobbins.

Alfie decides, "Bugger, 'ell hafta save my ballot to put on Bobbins if I want to hear me next 'Land 'o!'"

Now that's got ol' Bobbins one peg in the grave, and it's got 'im thinkin' 'e might hafta save his ballot, see?

But if Alfie and Bobbins both are as good a souls as a good soul should be, then the real scallywag can clank flagons and guzzle 'is rum as he likes, and be as idle as the calm.

Missed it by a minute. I've been stuck - entirely unnecessarily, I might add - underground on the metro for the past 20 minutes. In that timespan my eyes laid witness to all sorts of human incompetence.

I had planned to vote for Goosey but seeing the 3-way tie I might have broken it by voting for Kate.

Sorry host and players for missing the vote.
