Why is meeting in quotes? What are you implying?sabie12 wrote:Sabie is short for Sabrina if anyone would like to know my name haha. It has been nice "meeting" everyone so far and I look forward to many more fun games.
What about when you meet someone on the phone. Do you use verbal quotes? "Nice to meet you?"sabie12 wrote:I always say that when I meet people online since I'm not meeting anyone in person haha.
I am just asking questions! I have an inquisitive mind! I am not being hard on you at all.sabie12 wrote:Oh llama why you gotta be so hard on me :P
Can you "mete" them?Vompatti wrote:You can't "meat" someone on the phone.
I think meeting people online is just as valid a way to meet people as in person. In fact, you often get to really know people online quicker than in person.sabie12 wrote:I always say that when I meet people online since I'm not meeting anyone in person haha.

I'm the opposite. I get more anxiety in person then online. I used to take medicines as well for a couple years but have recently weened off them. I know it's not fun having to take them but it really will help stabilize thingssabie12 wrote:I've been diagnosed with anxiety and depression but finally found the right medication that works for me which is great. I would be diagnosed with them too if I went to some person who diagnoses such things.sabie12 wrote:I've been diagnosed with anxiety and depression but finally found the right medication that works for me which is great. In this instance, a disorder is a mental or behavioral pattern or anomaly that causes either suffering or an impaired ability to function in ordinary life (disability), and which is not developmentally or socially normative.thellama73 wrote:What is a disorder?A Person wrote: Anxiety is a disorder k

What Vomps said. Is being bad at math a disorder? Math is necessary in a lot of ordinary life. Is being a bad writer a disorder? Writing is necessary to a lot of ordinary life. Is falling in love a disorder? That causes suffering like crazy. I think presuming to tell people what is ordinary" or "normal" is arrogant, and I think classifying every deviation from the mean as a disorder is extremely dangerous.Vompatti wrote:What is ordinary life?Bullzeye wrote:In this instance, a disorder is a mental or behavioral pattern or anomaly that causes either suffering or an impaired ability to function in ordinary life (disability), and which is not developmentally or socially normative.thellama73 wrote:What is a disorder?A Person wrote: Anxiety is a disorder k
