Such a thing is not possible.

Even at the 70 player game we had last year, there were like 25 highly invested players, another 25 mildly invested ones, and maybe 20 inactives.

Don't forget: your sign up doesn't count unless you vote for what roles you want in the game. You do it by sending a PM to WolfPrinceKiba.

Just look for my avatar on NF, then click on my name and it will bring up a new screen where youcan press Start New Conversation. Send me your role selections there.

Give us Wad, Immortal King, Marco when he's inspired, Alwaysmind when he's in tinfoil-mode, and myself when I'm on vacation. Then add pre-PHD MP, Jay, Golden when he thinks he is about to solve the game, Quin in tinfoil-mode, and Sloonei for a good measure. Watch the thread implode.

Come to the Realms! Legion Mafia

I am inviting Syndicate players to try a game on the realms. As a mod, I enjoy trying new mechanics, fiddling with styles and things. Dabbling in the Syndicate has made me interested in running something different as a result.

This is a link for a game on HCRealms based on the FX Series Legion. Its very super-power-y and comic-book-ish, which is really what drew people to the Realms to begin with. I will provide more details in that thread as I concoct the rules, the roles, and so on.

Legion features an alternative 1970s-ish world with mutants, humans, and other classic X-Men elements. The series follows David (a powerful mutant) and an interesting supporting cast. gfishfunk games tend to also bring in roles from other media that relate (tangentially in some way).

HCRealms is actually a site dedicated to to a strategic tabletop board game 'Heroclix', where players control teams of super hero miniatures from DC and Marvel comics. As a result (perhaps) Realms games tend to be very narrative driven and mechanically driven. Though I have definitely enjoyed the mechanics I've seen in the Syndicate, I think the mechanics of Realms games occupies more conversation space within the thread.

http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php

If you choose to try it out, go ahead and create an account and post in the sign-up thread. Please identify yourself as a syndicate member.

If there is a better place to pot this, please let me know.

Its amazing on different levels.

If you hate super hero shtick, still watch just for the visuals and presentation style. Its oggle-worthy for beautifully lines shots, extremely well-linked sequences, and trippy tone.

I'm actually including some mechanics that support hard declines on role claiming as an experiment. I think it would be good for the realmsters to hit a claim wall.

I need a replacement for my game, or two. Likely two.

https://forums.hero-academia.com/thread ... e.1101659/

It's a 30 player, 48/24 hour, role heavy game. It's based on the Ace Attorney videogame series, so it has a game mechanic where you take the players to trial instead of lynching them directly. It's on Day 2 right now.

TIme to advertise another mafia game. This is a crossover between two anime, Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill. I took the opportunity to use the dual town system from the Turf Wars and Romance of the 3 Kingdoms games, and also added a few thematic twists.

https://www.narutoforums.org/threads/gu ... l.1118233/

31 players, 24 hour phases, starts in January.

Folks, me and a huge list of people are hosting Clash of the Hosts 2.

https://www.narutoforums.org/threads/cl ... 105/unread

It's basically a role madness game where a bunch of people including me made roles, mashed them up in a single game, and then you get to be our guinea pigs. Balanced is not expected, but epicness and hilarity are.

It's the same game Marmot and JaggedJimmyJay played last year. The difference is that this time around we won't have a voting system to pick roles. So balance should be alittle better maybe.

Hey guys! Thingyman wanted me to let you all know that MU is currently holding their first ever Turbo Championship.

Basically, this is a separate event from the regular Championship -- a 1-month event where everyone is invited to play in turbos (really short games like our burglaries here). By playing in turbos from now and until March 19th participants will automatically rack up leaderboard points and thus be in contention to win the title of Mafia Turbo Champion 2018. But as always, it's mostly for fun - and it's a great chance for people to dive into some cross-community fun without it being too much of a commitment, as these games last a maximum of 90 minutes.

There is both an Individual and Community Leaderboard. I.e. if people from your community do well, then they can also win the Best Community Award!

Find more information here.

we were granted permission to run some games on the movie/music game boards, as long as the theme was movie/music related. The signups are usually smaller in crowds since Off-Topic was deleted, but can get around 12 easy probably, as long as it's one game every year :p
