I'll probably go watch Legion too. I just finished Mad Men last night so it's time for a new show, and I've heard nothing but very good things about this show.

Its amazing on different levels.

If you hate super hero shtick, still watch just for the visuals and presentation style. Its oggle-worthy for beautifully lines shots, extremely well-linked sequences, and trippy tone.

I really need to take a mafia break after my time in the crossover is complete, but I highly recommend people go play over on HCR. I'd love to do it myself. I'm sure it'll be an absolute blast.

I'm actually including some mechanics that support hard declines on role claiming as an experiment. I think it would be good for the realmsters to hit a claim wall.

Iirc, the role kills players (lots at once?) but only if it know who they are.

It's a 30 player, 48/24 hour, role heavy game. It's based on the Ace Attorney videogame series, so it has a game mechanic where you take the players to trial instead of lynching them directly. It's on Day 2 right now.

I signed up for a game at HCRealms while we were down and it still has two open spots left, if anyone wants to help fill it.

TIme to advertise another mafia game. This is a crossover between two anime, Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill. I took the opportunity to use the dual town system from the Turf Wars and Romance of the 3 Kingdoms games, and also added a few thematic twists.

It's basically a role madness game where a bunch of people including me made roles, mashed them up in a single game, and then you get to be our guinea pigs. Balanced is not expected, but epicness and hilarity are.

It's the same game [mention]Marmot[/mention] and [mention]JaggedJimmyJay[/mention] played last year. The difference is that this time around we won't have a voting system to pick roles. So balance should be alittle better maybe.

Hey guys! [mention]Thingyman[/mention] wanted me to let you all know that MU is currently holding their first ever Turbo Championship.

Basically, this is a separate event from the regular Championship -- a 1-month event where everyone is invited to play in turbos (really short games like our burglaries here). By playing in turbos from now and until March 19th participants will automatically rack up leaderboard points and thus be in contention to win the title of Mafia Turbo Champion 2018. But as always, it's mostly for fun - and it's a great chance for people to dive into some cross-community fun without it being too much of a commitment, as these games last a maximum of 90 minutes.

There is both an Individual and Community Leaderboard. I.e. if people from your community do well, then they can also win the Best Community Award!

we were granted permission to run some games on the movie/music game boards, as long as the theme was movie/music related. The signups are usually smaller in crowds since Off-Topic was deleted, but can get around 12 easy probably, as long as it's one game every year

If you aren’t knowledgeable about comics just pick a couple characters from your favorite superhero flick (tons of these on Netflix right now) or ask a nerdier friend to suggest some.

I’d guess about three weeks. Bob/Tony or myself will ping anyone who signs up over here so you don’t have to check the Realms all the time waiting for a game.

I have an HCRealms Pokemon themed game starting in a week or so with two of my champs game mates and three long absent realmsers (Goodman, TheVagrantKing and CarlosMucha).

It’s really best at 23 with the way the character pool works out and I have 19 so I could use a few more. Please play nice due to heneral HCRealms laidbackness and some old folks coming out of retirement. If you aren’t mentioned below, I probably think you’re a big meanie head. (Jk. All are welcome.)

I was honestly going to kill the game until the whole setup snapped into place around the time I was discussing a crossover game with some champs people and then two of the long absent players posted.

I’m kicking around several games that are 70-90% done in my head and my notes app (Fantastic Four, Avengers, X-Men TAS 3, two versions of Fate, 100 Bullets 7, Gravity Falls, Zootopia) but they just don’t feel right yet.
