I just finished a cup of (particularly spicy) shrimp noodles and an apple turnover.

I made a chicken velouté with onions, garlic, and potatoes. It was most satisfying.

French mother sauces are hilarious to me, as a southerner. They sound so fancy, yet we call two of them "gravy."

I do not get the appeal of sliders. It seems like less food but more calories.
