If anyone has a solid reason for Golden being civvie besides "I just know" that would be great. Because I can't think of anything, and it's legitimately frustrating me that I've assumed he's civ for so long without even knowing why.

Once again, a theory that has been raised by many people over and over and over again which I've defended myself of again and again and again.

Explain why I was the person who completely unmasked TGG's gambit. I wouldn't merely have bussed him and g-man, I would have been going out of my way to draw the entire thread's attention to things that they didn't really need to be drawn to.

There are also others here - particularly splints and MM - who are able to verify that the timing of me going after TGG was exactly aligned to my finding out about non-in-thread stuff about him. It wasn't some charade - it was me full on busting someone.

The reason I am not legitimately considered to be on team webber is because of the clear lengths I went to early in the game to bust them. You can read back and think about it for yourself.

He is talking about TGG's issue with dead players replacing back in, and how he posted on jtm about it. I can vouch that this did come up elsewhere as well (in the ambassador chat. Not specifics to this game, but that our policies of replacing back in were being discussed elsewhere. I think it's important as ambassadors to be aware of how other communities view us as well. )
However I'm not sure that this necessarily clears Golden like he is saying. TGG clearly had internet issues AND another issue with the replacement thing. His teammates would have known that and could have wanted to distance from him early. I don't think this is necessarily the case with Golden, but worth considering.

MM raises a good point about Golden and Sloonei not being NK'ed. It makes my paranoia sense tingle. I do think Golden is good based on the previous NK attempt and his recent (repeated) defenses. Sloonei already had an attempt on his life and a successful death (that sounds awful!), so maybe they're playing it safe, provided he's still civ? But good question - why are they still alive if they're such good civs? I could be paranoid all day with all of it. I probably will be. But not paranoid enough to vote for either of them. I ramble.

Anyway, I need to vote now, because I need to eat and get myself ready for shenanigans. I'm going with splints again. I think I've explained why many times.

I cannot say why I am not dead, but it is not because I am bad. At minimum, there is a team you know I am not on that has chosen to kill people like Canuck and JJ ahead of me or sloonei. I don't think anyone who has been NKed or subject to a NK attempt could be considered to be a bad civ. In fact, I think everyone who is active and left alive is a good civ.

I will admit I've considered the possibility that I'm still alive because I'm wrong about who is bad (which is probably the best reason not to NK me). But I've been over my spreadsheets again and again and I just really believe DF is bad.

Not only do I not look for role hints; I tend to ignore them if i do see them. Too easy to misinterpret, and to fake. I wont go so far as to say i think role hints are the Devil, but i do think they are just a wee tad demonic. Just a tad.

Agreed here, although I personally believe a splints vote would be better. I suspect her for Wildhorn the most at the moment, based mostly on tone and her interactions with Nutella.

Also, MM I concede that with this flip I think I must be wrong about you, so I'm sorry sir. But it wasn't a No u, I genuinely believed your actions to be shady.

Their interactions were not meaningful in that either one suspected the other, so it could be reasonable to assume that she just forgot about him. That said, I'd say there's a slightly stronger chance that Gumshoe is Wildhorn over Devin.

TH/SVS --- with the way BR continued to dog TH, I think she was looking for someone to frame, and an excuse to suspect him. I think SVS is not Team Wildhorn as a result of this.

fingersplints --- If we don't actually lynch an inactive today, I think BR's interactions with fingersplints are most suspicious. I haven't looked at fingersplints' side of the relationship yet, but BR's only comments with her involved lightheartedness, friendliness, and sarcasm. I find these interactions far more significant than the lack of interaction with nijuukyugou.

You describe BR's interactions with splints as "suspicious" and "significant", but I'm not really seeing reasons why you feel this way. Sure, they could have been lighthearted and friendly, but does that really suggest a partnership between the two?

There is no way, based on the BR-relationship, to call out one over the other in my mind. Since she did not interact with either of them or mention either of them, they are of equal status.
