It's also interesting that you mention a role checker. One of the roles I had in mind for B & C was a power stealer, who would learn a role in the process. Now I really have to go get ready for work, lol.

I'm sorry to have been absent guys. Internet was down again last night into today. In any case, I feel comfortable with an SVS lynch based upon a process of elimination. I have too much to get done today to risk waiting to vote and I feel confident enough to cast it now so I will.

*vote SVS*

Nah, its not a role thing. The reason I suspect it has to do with the trivia contest.

I think you're selling yourself short, but OK.

Well, I am going to vote for Daisy. As she says, process of elimination. Plus, as I said, some type of robbery would be a logical power for B & C. So a role check with a power use would be a good guess. Didn't we have two kills and or attempts one day? Or two silences? Although with the amount of silence in this game in general it would be hard to say. But if you think she checked you

Well Ninja, I really don't want a tie, so I'm voting with you.

I feel like Daisy is the better way to go, but if you really think it is SVS I will roll with you.

I'm also certain that if we get this right the game will end. Jekyll is not alive.

Jekyll targetted me on day four or 5. SVS, Daisy, Gumshoe and Devin were not around at that time. Jekyll is also not the singer, given their role is clearly revealed.

Ninja totally left J & H out of her analysis. Who do you think was that role? When do you think they died?

S~V~S wrote:I am not bad. Like not at all. I am surprised to see you riding someone elses coattails.
Ninja and I have to come to a consensus. That's not cottail riding, thats just a fact. We have to vote together. If we do not, there is a tie, and noone gets lynched, and that is not helpful at all.

I think daisy not you is the baddie, but I'm open to a persuasive argument if ninja really thinks you are.

linki - I think it is either bubbles or neverwhere. Probably bubbles. But there are plenty of possibilities. It's enough for me that I've ruled out everyone else alive from being J&H. Whoever it was, they are definitely dead.

Well, I would expect you to vote for the person you actually think is bad as opposed to voting to avoid a tie. Especially with your role. Then again, good or bad isn't that important I guess, by the same lights. I guess I wanted to win with you because I still love my original role, and wish I had not thrown it away.

So whatever you do works for me. I have said all I have to say. I think Daisy is bad, and Ninjas analysis is faulty since she left important things out of it.

Sorry, today's been stupid busy getting ready for the next few days :D

Golden, I hate to say it, but it's really a crapshoot for me. That was just logic analysis, and a late-night rather skimpy one at that. I actually gut-feel better about voting Daisy, and her quick vote, although I know she is busier than anyone, just felt weird. (Boy, this feels like Biblical Mafia all over again, except I'm not on the chopping block :P ) So, wanna vote Daisy?

And that is why I wanted Ninja to have the choice... since I would win either way, and she was deciding her own fate but not mine.

But given SVS and I were to be serial killer partners.... if I hadn't gone and lynched her on day one... it seemed better that I would win with her.

Sorry Ninja - I really wanted both you and SVS to win. Well played at the end there, SVS.

And Bass wins again too :o I don't believe it.

(And LC - I think you winning with me is kind of fitting, all things considered, eh?)

My plan was essentially... get civ cred early, then bandwagon so that the baddie teams wouldn't see any reason to kill me.

The hardest part of the game was when JJ started calling me out for being on bandwagons. It was like... yes I am JJ. That's exactly where I want to be. It's a tough line to straddle between not being lynched and not being NKed.

SVS, why did you survive the night kill?

I had 2 powers; a role check/power steal (hee hee) and a protect. Once the rest of the team was dead, I protected myself every other night. I was going on the wrong night due to just the way it worked out before Bass died, but LC suggested I skip a few nights and reset the protect schedule so i would be protected when the other team killed like right before they tried to kill me.

Role List:

Sondheim vs. Lloyd Weber Mafia
Hosted by: Dom
Total Roles: 28

Sondheim and Brown – The Civilians (17 Roles)
Stephen Sondheim – Composer and lyricist, an actor favorite. Sondheim is the king of Broadway. His shows are masterpieces. Sondheim writes a song for every night post. These songs come from love, because if they don’t, there’s no point.
West Side Story – There’s a place for us, somewhere a place for us. Star-crossed lovers, and all that. West Side Story can implement a time of peace, where no death will take place for one full phase. This will not be announced to the thread. However, upon the violence resuming, a massacre occurs. One random player will die, however West Side Story can select 5 players to protect from this.
Gypsy – Everything’s coming up Roses. Mama Rose is a dominant woman who may or may not have destroyed her children, who knows? Gypsy can stop one lynch.
A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum – Tragedy tomorrow, Comedy tonight! Sondheim’s first solo venture received rave reviews. Targets one player each night who will be insanified using a device at the choosing of the owner of this role.
Company – Somebody hold me too close, Somebody hurt me too deep. Bobby has commitment issues. On night 3, Company can establish anonymous BTSC with a player of their choosing.
A Little Night Music – And I shall marry the miller’s son. Don’t you dare mention Send In the Clowns. Aristocrats get privileges—will survive the first attempt on their life. Additionally can protect one player each night. Cannot protect themselves.
Merrily We Roll Along – We’re opening doors! Sondheim’s flop, but one of my favorite musicals of all time, Merrily We Roll Along is about friendships that disintegrate—targets one player every night, if they have BTSC it will be disbanded for the next day period.
Anyone Can Whistle – Everybody says don’t, everybody says don’t, everybody says don’t walk on the grass. Anyone Can Whistle has its obvious political commentaries. Did not do very well commercially, but is considered a classic Sondheim piece in terms of its musical stylings. Vote is worth 2.
Sweeney Todd – It’s priest. Try a little priest. Have you seen Cannibalism THE MUSICAL, yet? You should. Sweeney Todd has one night kill to use throughout the entire game.
Sunday In the Park With George – Bit by bit, putting it together! One of a select few musicals with a Pulitzer Prize, Sunday in the Park With George is considered one of Sondheim’s greatest works. Sunday in the Park With George can read Marie’s diary every even night, providing him with the role of a player who has passed.
Into The Woods – Into the Woods to get the thing that makes it worth the journeying. A musical about consequences, responsibility, adulthood, and the human condition, this show may be my favorite Sondheim piece. Into the Woods will break any tie that may exist in a lynch poll. Upon this role’s death, all ties will result in a no-lynch. Into the Woods also may pardon one lynch.
Evening Primrose – I remember sky. Sondheim’s television musical, Evening Primrose is an oft overlooked piece. Evening Primrose can make 1 person’s vote worth 0 in the next day.
Jason Robert Brown – Jason Robert Brown is a contemporary analogue of Stephen Sondheim. Musical and lyrical genius, his scores sway Tony voters consistently. Jason Robert Brown can target one person each night and redirect their target to another player.
Songs for a New World – Jenny’s afraid of water, I mean she swims and all, but still: she’s afraid of water. A song cycle about so much more than what you’d think. Songs for a New World can stop time. Upon their death, there will be a second day. If they are night killed, there will be two days in a row. If they are lynched, two nights will follow.
Parade – Well, hey, sunshine! Sunshine? Looks like rain to me. A tragic story of injustice, Parade will definitely make you cry. Because of the injustice it has already suffered, Parade can switch one lynch to a player of their choosing.
The Last Five Years – I stand on a precipice, I struggle to keep my balance, I open myself, I open myself one stitch at a time. What might be my favorite musical, The Last Five Years is Divorce! The Musical! The Last Five Years can break a person’s heart each night, thus blocking them.
The Bridges of Madison County – And love is always better. A steamy, four day love affair about a woman’s agency. Due to the affair’s secret nature, it must be kept quiet. Secrets are essential-- they get a snippet of BTSC each night.
Lloyd Weber – Baddie Team 1 (4 Roles)
Andrew Lloyd Weber – A true monster. A true, true monster. Andrew is nothing short of despicable and is only capable of creating mediocre art during his early period. Later, his ‘art’ turned to utter garbage. Sir Andrew kills on odd nights.
The Phantom of the Opera – The Phantom of the Opera is there, inside my mind. Sir Andrew’s Magnus Opus, the Phantom kidnaps a player each night and silences them. It’s unbreakable run also makes it immune from night powers.
Starlight Express – Starlight express, answer me yes. This has to be one of the stupidest musicals ever conceived. Starlight Express is so bad that it blocks one player each night.
Cats – Memory, all alone in the moonlight. Also known as one of the single most overrated musicals in the music-theatre-canon, Cats was on Broadway for a long time and for some reason is being revived in London. Cats can suffer in its own memory and role check a dead player every night.
Wildhorn – Baddie Team 2 (3 Roles)
Frank Wildhorn – A mediocre composer at best, Frank has been ostracized in the community because he’s kind of, reportedly, rude. Frank kills on even nights. On odd nights, Frank targets a player-- something might happen.
Wildhorn can corrupt one of Sondheim’s flops (Anyone Can Whistle, Merrily We Roll Along, or Evening Primrose.

Jekyll & Hyde – If I could reach you, if I could guide and teach you. It’s the classic tale—musicalized! Targets one player a night who must attempt to lynch another player. If that player is not lynched in three days, the targeted player will receive one extra vote in every lynch against them. Will show up as civilian upon lynching.
Bonnie and Clyde – I’d rather breathe in life than dusty air. Should it have run longer? Probably. Is it as good as people want it to be? Not particularly. Bonnie and Clyde protects one player each night phase. Bonnie and Clyde can also complete ‘jobs’ on odd nights, which will allow them to 1) role check a player and 2) use their power the following night, if applicable. Because of their ability to run from the police, B&C also can stop one lynch.
Independents (2 Roles)
Andrew Lippa – And we were having a wild, wild party! Andrew Lippa probably needs a lyricist, thus, he searches for someone every night. Lippa searches for the lyricists (Sondheim, Brown, Schwartz, and Hammerstein) and if he finds ¾ before he dies, he only has to survive to the end to win.
Stephen Schwartz – I’ve gotta be someone who lives all of his life in superlatives. Schwartz writes some interesting material. He eavesdrops on his neighbors to see what they are saying and receives a snippet of BTSC every night. Wins if he is alive at the end of the game.
Serial Killers (2 Roles)
Oscar Hammerstein II – Some enchanted evening, you may find a stranger.. Looks for his longtime partner, Richard Rodgers each night. If they find each other, they gain BTSC, kill even nights, can win together, and have one lynch save.
Richard Rodgers – If I loved you, time and again I would try to say all I’d want you to know. Looks for his longtime partner, Oscar Hammerstein II each night. If they find each other, they gain BTSC, kill even nights, can win together, and have one lynch save.

Player/Role List:
Bass The Clever - Jekyll and Hyde
FZ. - The Bridges of Madison County
Black Rock - Merrily We Roll Along
JJJ - Sunday in the Park With George
Cobalt - Parade
Devin - Stephen Schwartz
DFaraday - Andrew Lloyd Weber
Canucklehead - Evening Primrose

I want to say how much I appreciate your effort into this game NJU despite losing! You were amazing and JUST barely lost. I loved every single re-write you did and I sent them to my musical theater friends. ^_^

I appreciate everyone who put effort into this game. I loved hosting you.

I also want to say that there was a third prize STILL available from trivia and it would have really changed the game. It was the mystery prize, and I'm shocked no one took it. It was basically, a "what do you want for a prize? propose something and i'll consider it" prize. That could have utterly changed the game.

Haha... the main reason I thought daisy was bad was how hard she trusted me. I figured she had won the role check, seen I was indy, and realised she didn't need me dead to win.
