The Syndicate

Recruitment is a game for many, we will not limit the number of players that sign up to the game. With that said we also will not run it with less than 31 players. We have 31 roles completed and ready to go. If we get more than 31 players some players will start the game as Vanilla Civilians, they will have a clan and when they are recruited they will gain a role. I wish I could link the Recruitment 1 and 2 but they aren't available at this time. Recruitment 3 was played on Rev and can be found here http://forum.revolutionmafia.com/viewto ... =24&t=2168

The Clans

Children of Serenity - They were the true believers in the lessons of Serenity, The clan is made of law makers, judges, those who will maintain order.

Guardians of the Lifeforce - Peaceful, believers in nature, healers. They have little use for civilization. They seem cold to some because they shun progress.

Warriors of the Shadows - Strong, honorable, vicious. They are often thought of as evil but they are interested in maintaining peace.

Sorcerers of the Elements - Selfish, Chaotic, driven by power. They are talented in magic. Not truly evil though.

Brotherhood of the Inner Eye - Interested in inner peace,they respect order. They will choose to influence people's choices

Each role will be assigned a clan, aspects of the roles are influenced by the clan they are from. These are not teams, just origins.

Caelia - Children of Serenity

Position 1: Redirect Night powers
Position 2: Immune to NK/Lynch
Position 3: Choose 5 people to block
Position 4: Kill
Position 5: Votes worth 3

Ubzargan the Ruthless - Warriors of the Shadows
“The tale of the victor is told on the battlefield, and written in blood. This is all that matters.”
Position 1: Immune to NK/Lynch
Position 2: Lynch Switch
Position 3: Thread Lock
Position 4: Poison
Position 5: Heal/Protect

Azura Nokomis - Sorcerers of the Elements
"There is no good and evil, there is only power...and those too weak to seek it. Better to save your own life and join me."
Position 1: Power Steal
Position 2: Chooses a player. Votes for her go to that player, and votes for that player go to her
Position 3: Immune to NK/Lynch
Position 4: Curse
Position 5: Choose 3 people to force votes

Terras, Bastion of Hope - Guardians of the Lifeforce
“I care not for these shallow political games, I must unite my clan. The welfare of my clan is all that matters.”
Terras wins by surviving and having at least three other Guardians alive at the end of the game. He can win alongside of any faction. Other Guardians can win with Terras regardless of their alignment.

Position 1: Protects all Guardians
Position 2: Knows how many Guardians are alive
Position 3: Guardian Alignment Check
Position 4: Check Player to see if Guardian
Position 5: Stops Guardian Lynch

EPIC CHALLENGES

Each role will have an Epic Challenge to complete. If they can, throughout the course of the game, complete this Challenge, they will have their role enhanced, gaining additional powers and/or win conditions.

I am taking a mafia break until Recruitment starts... for however long or short that time is. But there is no way I'm missing this one.

The only thing is, I do have a 9 day holiday in here (my sister-in-laws wedding) where I won't be very active, but I still will be able to participate and vote I expect.

I will partake, because I would not miss it for anything.

For those who know my history and mafia crush with aapje, I do have a lead and will be working on him for this game. Like Roxy said, I can't host a game without him. If he doesn't play this game I will have to choose my new mafia crush and that shall be... MM. I see the same things brewing here, a good love/hate relationship. We'll see if he challenges me enough.

I'm 95% sure I'll end up playing this game but I'm actually going to get my wife's blessing on this one before I commit.

Black Rock is one of my most favorite of Hostessess.LC is right behind her.
