MM - Refer to my case using MM's ISO. Nothing has changed, except that since I think at this point that you are more likely to be bad than he is, it's less likely that he's bad based solely on my gut feeling that the interactions between you two earlier in the day were not staged. Since these reads are meant to help you guys "in the end" consider that this could change if you are revealed to be civ, while on the other hand if he is revealed to be civ I really think people should wake up and look at you already.

Boosmslang - No specific pings so I haven't mentioned him yet, but GTH I would actually say he's bad. I don't like how he said this:

Correct. Your case against me was that unconvincing. I didn't even care enough to respond to it and also didn't care enough to worry about whatever a CFD is to know that if it meant any kind of trouble for me and it was your suggestion to the rest of town, it wasn't going to happen.

Now this is an interesting post. Especially when it regards vocabulary that became important to following the thread. That kind of cockiness might come from knowing that you've got two other people in your corner (the rest of the mafia) who won't board your wagon. If the case was so unconvincing, it should have been easy to refute, right?

...but then let it go and later said I was simply frustrated and was most likely civilian. That seems like a convoluted arc of an opinion. I also fail to see his suspicions of Choutas.

Choutas - I think he's civ. The only ping I've had on him was one I had while catching up in the thread, and it was erased as I caught up further.

Luke - From the impression I've gotten from him so far he seems like one of those players who could easily be misinterpreted based on his preferred method of gameplay. So far I haven't been given a reason to think he's bad.

Tranq - Tranq has rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning but I don't like stating reads that are based on nothing more than my gut in the thread, until I have enough material to work with in trying to justify them to everyone else. So since MM has also asked for me to elaborate, let's take a trip through Tranq's ISO:

The only post of the entire day (which I remind you is almost over) as well as blatantly unjustified yet on a building wagon. This is the cherry on top. Tranq is fitting that perfect blend that I mentioned MM was in earlier (though now admittedly less so) of having enough posts to avoid lurker accusations from others but having little enough content to avoid having posts that one could call out as scum-motivated or use to find connections to teammates later on.

Is there really that much separating Tranq and Choutas? They both seem to be playing the same game to me. Disregarding post count (I don't really pay attention to that), their contributions so far are practically the same.

Here's a couple reasons I don't want to lynch zebra today.

1) I don't think she's bad. I accused her of kick-starting the day too quickly with a case against me, but in reality, her post came over 30 minutes after the night post. That's plenty of time to do research.
2) Zebra's wagon is pulling too far ahead for my liking. Whether she is mafia or civilian, if she wins the lynch in landside fashion, the information we could gain would be less useful. In a landslide, it's easier for voters to "hide" in the wagon, because that is the only viable lynch option. However, if there is a second competing wagon, that will force baddies to be more "careful" with their votes, and can be especially insightful in a mafia lynch.
3) Lynching active players early on is detrimental. Notice how the day started off with myself pointing a finger at DrWilgy, him pointing a finger at zebra, and she pointing a finger at me. Unforunately, that led to players picking sides in that debate, and it most players sided with Wilgy.

I'll leave my vote on Tranq. Zebra is right, he's too fluffy.

So you would prefer a "settled" mislynch to a justified but riskier potential baddie lynch? Good to know. As for the Tranq/Choutas comparison I think it's much more difficult to justify perceiving Chouta's ISO as deceitful or scummy in general when up against Tranq's. Choutas seems rather flustered with the direction the game is going in similar to myself. I never base my reads off of post count myself; I can have a strong town read on a person with one post and a strong scum read on a person with one post as well.

I don't really know what to think of the Wilgy/Zebra/Marmot convos. The Marmot plays exactly like he did in TH, I lean town on him for that. Wilgy's first post that MM quoted doesn't look good. Does he always posts like that in all games? Zebra mirrors well what I saw from him in TH. He's a good player though I'm sure he's capable of doing that as scum so I''ll have to watch for the slight details that might give that away.
I'm voting for Wilgy until a better case forms.

This post alone, regardless of how you feel about its content, puts Choutas in a much better position than Tranq. This is actual content that could be analyzed and argued with. Tranq has offered nothing of substance whatsoever.

I don't buy it. Post count doesn't mean a thing and I think you know that. I rarely see civs let their suspicions drop before their targets even acknowledge the issue they brought up. See here's the thing though, I was scum then, I had no goal in making those stats other than wanting to look like a civ. I'm trying my best to use the analyses to figure out who scum team is.

I missed a step of the dance Zebra, do forgive me, and allow me to fully explain why I like that option.

Boomslang - I'm suspicious of Boomslang from yesterday, his thoughts of me defending Tranq threw me for a loop. Honestly it's lingering doubt, and I haven't reassessed him since.

Tranq - You make a good point on tranq, but I disagree with lynching a wallflower at this point, I feel that chances are higher that we will hit a civ if we lynch tranq today, rather than you. Lynching a mafia is too important at this time for me to take that chance.

MM, or you being the leading suspicions of the "anyone who isn't" category is the last slot, but If you are the baddie though in that trio, I would assume Zebra, Boomslang, and Choutas to be more likely than Zebra, Boomslang, Tranq and didn't mention you over MM.

Okay, I'm still down with a Floyd lynch, but after reviewing the polls, I think a read on Wilgy and Tranq is a good idea. I noticed they both voted Zebra on Day 1, avoiding the bcornett lynch and then both helped lynch Zebra on Day 2. I remember Wilgy made the statistical post about how the mafia doesn't vote together early, so I'm wondering if that was a nice little "haha see what I did there?" move by him. I'm pretty sure Wilgy also slightly defended Tranq early in the game too. I'll reread both but that'd be swell if everyone did the same.

bea - Do you have any suspicions? What do you think of Wilgy, Tranq, and Floyd?

Wait, what, seriously? We just lost two of our biggest voices witj A2Z and MM and at this point we have hardly any direction. We need all the disussion possible or we're completely and utterly doomed.

Zebra, I'm sorry I couldn't get back in time. I left my vote on you not because I thought it'd be a mislynch (obviously), but I was afraid I was being manipulated and thought it'd be safer to stick to my guns.

My most prominent thought is that I'm really bad at Mafia, and I should probably look over this whole Tranq dealio ASAP, and well... pretty much revisit everyone else bc at this point I'm just lost.

WIFOM nonwithstanding, I doubt that mafia teammates would acknowledge that direct influence so clearly. Especially with Tranq being such a low poster, where every post can be scrutinized. I don't like how Wilgy is deciding to step back after the bad lynch result, but I really don't like how Tranq just shrugged off his Zebra vote as temporary very early in the day, then never bothered to explain it or move it to someone else. It was a close lynch, and when he saw the momentum gathering against him, I think he figured it'd be better to lay low and maintain his advantage than try to defend himself.

Choutas - Besides Wilgy, what are you thinking? The bulk of your posts aren't about much, and in the few that you suspect Wilgy, you say "Voting Wilgy until a better case forms" and then "Voting Wilgy cuz two dead civs voted for him".

I don't like how Wilgy is deciding to step back after the bad lynch result, but I really don't like how Tranq just shrugged off his Zebra vote as temporary very early in the day, then never bothered to explain it or move it to someone else. It was a close lynch, and when he saw the momentum gathering against him, I think he figured it'd be better to lay low and maintain his advantage than try to defend himself.

His logic kinda makes sense to me. Since yesterday, most opposition to Wilgy has disappeared. I don't know if Choutas is right but that's not a terrible case to make.

What responsibility am I avoiding? as far as I can tell, the everyone has been avoiding that responsibility as well.

It's been 5 hours since my last post, there have been 4 posts since. That is less than one post per hour since I've taken a step back.

I've been asking Choutas to explain his suspicion on me for the past 2-3 irl days, and I still haven't seen anything.
