Well, that was during the first days. I stopped properly following the action a long time ago.

Ugh, lol. Mac wasn't really a fan of the rule, but I reminded him that mafia can't chat during the day, so it is fair in that respect.

Considering this "reaction to lynch post" thing was something I had never seen until I played at RYM, I'm surprised that it's the RYM folks who have trouble following it. :omg:
sig was allowed to sub in when he had access to this thread? Weird.
Hehe, we actually talked about this in here (before there even being a real issue of a replacement), but Marsh found that there was no problem with it, if there was no real info the spectator would have.

But then again, I don't believe in having spectator chats for that reason.
My games will have spectator threads, but I'll also ask the players who sign up to commit to playing, except for extraordinary circumstances. If replacement issues do happen, I could always text my buddy Belshazzar to stop by.

I would rather have a spectator chat I think than let the dead sub back in. I plan to offer players prizes for rounding up replacements, and if someone asks for a replacement and one can't be found, I was thinking of letting the role go fallow for 2 cycles, then modkilling it.

I don't think MP is bad, just misguided. Mac is the way to go today.

MP could be a bad guy. I had some suspicions before I was burned at the stake. I don't understand though why it's so automatic for seemingly so many people to call someone an obvious mafia read just because he/she defended a mafia player.

Is that really how it works?

It isn't "just because." There are other reasons MP is the obvious teammate (he suspected me for contrived reasons when Diiny was in a bind for the third time, he's been around but hasn't been hunting or making connections).

Yeah I don't associate you with that perspective Epi. It seemed some people didn't have much of anything to say about MP until now though.

I feel as though MP is a given. The question is, is the last one Mac or Motel room. If it's those two and not MP, then I'll be astonished.

It is possible it is the comeback of the century. Wouldn't that be amazing!

Motel Room? Or Mac?

We shall see.

@epi - You did do a good job at turning it around. Well played. If the civs bring it home you hold a lot of the responsibility for it.

I hate that I'm so distrustful early on. Then again, I tend to take suspicion early on, so that colors my perception of the early game.

I definitely learned a lot from playing this game. It was a good experience. Shame that the timing wasn't the best for me with finals though.

I will refrain from commenting much, just to keep you all from being influenced as to the end result. All I will say is that don't celebrate too soon, because the mafia can still win this. :feb:

I would have tried harder this last Day if I felt there was any remote possibility I could convince anyone, but it was definitely not happening.

I felt like I could defend Diiny and make it look organic because I have a hard time suspecting him as civilian, but in the end I just couldn't get it to work.
