I don't get that line at all. However, I really like the song.

That's a pretty rad set of vocals you got there.speedchuck wrote:Welp, here we go. Necrobump.
Thanks! I've been practicing for years. It took time to mostly get rid of my innate southern accent. Besides, I do voiceover work for a friend, and I need to be decent at that.Marmot wrote:That's a pretty rad set of vocals you got there.speedchuck wrote:Welp, here we go. Necrobump.
What exactly is that?MovingPictures07 wrote:Also, you totally need to play the next Vocaroo Mafia.
A game where you only use Vocaroo to post instead of text.speedchuck wrote:What exactly is that?MovingPictures07 wrote:Also, you totally need to play the next Vocaroo Mafia.
You bastard.
You are terribly naive.MovingPictures07 wrote:You bastard.
Thanks! I work on it.S~V~S wrote:I would have problems lynching that voice, tbh.
You mean like that first time you called me?Epignosis wrote:You are terribly naive.MovingPictures07 wrote:You bastard.
It is definitely awesome. How do you practice for voiceover work?speedchuck wrote:Thanks! I work on it.S~V~S wrote:I would have problems lynching that voice, tbh.
By doing voiceover work, mostly. I was quite terrible when I started. After many, many hours next to a microphone, I got a feel for my voice, how to act, etc. Some good things to do are to pay attention to voiceovers in cartoons, look into behind-the-scenes-work to see what it's like without the animation there, read books aloud, and listen to/critique your own work.MovingPictures07 wrote:It is definitely awesome. Huh, that's interesting. Makes sense though; practice makes perfect I suppose. Cool stuff!speedchuck wrote:By doing voiceover work, mostly. I was quite terrible when I started. I'm by no means an expert, but I've been doing it for like 5 years. Enunciation and acting have improved.
If you want to hear another sample for some reason, I'm pretty prevalent in the first two minutes of this out-of-context video near the end of a series. Warning: Copious amounts of cussing! Though none from me.MovingPictures07 wrote:Huh, that's interesting. Makes sense though; practice makes perfect I suppose. Cool stuff!speedchuck wrote:By doing voiceover work, mostly. That is not what I expected.
What did you expect?
