MECHANICS (WIP):

- LMS Game with shifting/changing/variable win cons
- Roles marked "Solo" may only travel alone when using their given time travel method. Roles marked "Pair" may take one or more other players with them
- Roles marked "One-Way" may only visit the past OR the future, roles marked "Two-Way" are free to visit either, by the nature of their time travel device.
- Unless and until specifically stated by the host, the game is considered free BTSC. You are REQUIRED to inform the host with whom you are sharing BTSC, and ENCOURAGED to include the host in that BTSC, but nothing else. Despite being a Free BTSC game, Win conditions will generally be Last Man Standing.


TIME TRAVEL (EXTREMELY WIP)
- Time Travel will work differently for each player, but follow the same general rules.
- The effects of time travel will be exponential depending on the length of time traveled and the severity of actions taken
- The game has the potential to change drastically as a result of time travel to the future or the past
- I have yet to determine a limit of how many times one can travel through time and/or how far back/forward one is permitted to go. My tentative decision on both of these points is:

* The furthest back/forward I will allow anyone to go (unless specifically stated in the role) is 2 phases.
^ Traveling forward or backward a phase or less is not likely to result in significant change, barring any significant alteration to the Timeline
^ Traveling 2.5 phases forward or backwards or more will DRASTICALLY affect the game, the players, and the person(s) engaging in time travel, unless specifically stated in the role.

Wow, I can't wait to see this in action. This was a mechanic I've thought about once or twice, but never deeply because I didn't know of a good way of executing it.

Considering the objecitves, do you think there will be a possibility for a "Last Team Standing", as opposed to LMS? The function of BTSC would probably be different in either case.

I don't want to comment too much on this but I am working on roles and/or game mechanics that deal with potential "team" wins.

Variable LMS I have played, and that was mind bending. But with time travel thrown in, well, I'm not worthy.

That would be very awesome. It would also be labor intensive for the host, I can't imagine the spreadsheet.

More than halfway done the roles. I've already identified at least one thing in every role that is going to be a nightmare to keep track of but also is way too fucking cool not to use.

ALSO: In addition to regular win conditions, every role will have an "additional objective". While not technically a win condition, it is something that I added so that everyone starts with a clear picture of what to do in mind. Hopefully that ends up translating well.

You should call them epic win conditions. :grin:
