The Syndicate

Game rules:

1) The game is a closed set up, which means no roles will be revealed before the start of the games. All players who die will have their full role card (identity, alignment, win condition and abilities) revealed upon their death, regardless of whether they are lynched or nightkilled. There are only three power roles, but it is not known what they are. It should not be presumed that they are all necessarily useful. For example, a civ tracker could be offset by the killer being untrackable. A mafia godfather does not imply a civilian cop. A blocker does not imply that there are roles able to be blocked.

2) Days will last 48 hours. All players need to vote in the poll during the day, and at the end of the day the player with the most votes will be lynched.

3) Nights will last 24 hours.

4) Generally speaking, you are required to post in white. This is the hosts colour. You may post in dead red when you are dead, but you cannot post on topic. Anyone who is not playing may post off topic in non player blue. Living players have to use OT green to post off topic. Anyone being pedantic should use pedantic pink, because it is awesome.

5) You may not post in the thread any PM from the host. You may role claim and also claim any ability should you want to.

6) All votes are changeable.

7) You cannot lynch the marmot on day one, as much as you may want to, because he is not playing.

8) MovingPictures is the Mod on duty. Please contact him if you have any issues with other players or your host.

I was walking around this bloody beach for at LEAST 3 minutes and I can't find my bag. Mother was telling me Oceanic was no good at this stuff. It's probably sitting on the tarmac in Houston as I speak.
I'm switching from Oceanic to Malaysian Air from now on, whenever I get back home. This is just ridiculous!

Yeah, they'll save you money if you have no bags, have a printer, and don't want a seat. Let me see if I can lay out their pricing, because I was on the phone trying to finagle through their labyrinth of a phone menu for hours.
The flat rate was ASTRONOMICALLY CHEAP! $60 from Orlando to Atlanta. What a deal!
-Don't book over the phone or else it's $25 extra.
-Print off ticket before you get to the check-in counter. If you don't, that'll be $10 extra.
-To check a bag is $35. Well, that's about on par with most other airlines. Except...
-the weight limit is 40 pounds. Any more and it's $100 extra.
-to bring a CARRY-ON, it is $45. That's right, it's more expensive to bring on a bloody purse.
-You then have to buy a seat, for a minimum of $10. But you can't just stand in the back- that's a safety concern. So why wasn't that just tacked onto the initial price..?? Like, what?
-drinks and snacks cost money. Even a cup of BLOODY TAP WATER cost $2.

At this point I was half expecting them to charge for seatbelts and bathroom use. I ended up spending 50% more on a flight that should have been more upfront with their pricing.

Also, I'm not voting for Wilgy today because of what happened last time.

Hi guys & gals!

I flew spirit and didn't really have any problems. There was a woman in line in front of me really trying to jam her carry on into that metal "Your bag must fit in here to be free" box though And they wouldn't turn on the air inside the plane until take off so it got a bit stuffy. It's definitely an airline you have to plan ahead to use!

I miss Midwest Express... They gave out fresh baked chocolate chip cookies on every flight

Anyway... Its day one on the island. Stay out of the jungle there's a monster in there!

It literally spawned an entire community which is still active to this day (I assume, haven't visited Hedville myself in a long time!). If he hadn't posted his groundbreaking theory about dinasaurs so many many things would never have happened and LP would've been a very different place. I wonder how he feels about his bizarre internet fame. Do you think it's something he often tells people about?
