It was a rough night at work, culminating in me hurting my back and my ith second shifter having to rush out because her stand was taken to the hospital. I will write the post now....

Look What You're Doing

Conor sat serenely on the edge of the stage, seemingly unconcerned about the mounting lynch mob. He had escaped them twice after all, what made them so sure this time would be different? They all stood well away from him this time, while Kate took careful aim from across the room. She was an expert knife thrower and so there was quite a bit of confidence among the group that this was the end of Conor. She let the knife fly from her hand with ease and they all watched it spin beautifully across the room towns Conor. This was surely foolproof!

But alas, Conor'sskill surprised them for a third time. He caught the knife in his teeth and spun into a series of quick and lovely pirouettes, and as he came to a graceful stop he released the knife. In horror they watched as it flew right back and impaled Kate in the neck. She bled out quickly.

Kate has been lynched. It is now Day... Again (I have to look up the number I think I messed them up in the header...) You have 24 hours to lynch someone. Good luck!

TBQH, he is not sure... vloddamick hasn't much participated, and hes hung back not doing anything that might draw suppression, which makes chaindeath wonder about him. Its a weak case but all he has.

The audience circled around Chaindeath. He looked around at them in a bit of a panic, "Guys listen, you are making a mistake!"

"Well either you or Conor are a Teacher, and it sure looks like Conor is Henry right now..." blindfaeth explained.

LT nodded, "Besides, if you were Henry, it won't matter if we lynch you, right?"

Chaindeath shrugged, trying to feign indifference, "it won't matter to me, but I really don't want another of my fellow civs to die."

"I'm willing to bet that you are going to be the one to die," Vloddamick chimed in.

"seriously, this is a mistake!" Chaindeath could no longer mask the fear in his voice as the circle tightened around him. He dropped to the ground hoping to slip away again, but thisa time they were ready for that move, DharmaHelper knelt on his chest, pressing down with all of his weight as Chaindeath struggled until finally he could no longer even gasp for any air and he lay still. They all exchanged glances, was it finally over?

DharmaHelper went through his pockets and found detention slips in chaindeath's pockets.

Chaindeath has been lynched, he was a Teacher! The civilians have won!

She's leaving Home - activated the Runaway's secret, also would have rezzed her once she died
Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite - turned the lynch into a circus, creating a mystery poll
Within You, Without You - would allow one randomly chosen Baddie to attach themself to a civ, so they secretly could stay alive until that civ was lynched
When I'm Sixty Four - created one randomly chosen pair of players for BTSC for one day/night cycle.

AH! Good game! Chaindeath I was rooting for you the whole time! Sometimes in mafia you are dealt a poor hand, and you took that poor hand and ran with it (almost) to the end. I am proud to have been your mafia buddy, even if it was for just a couple days.

OMG! I can't believe this is over lol. I really thought we would need to lynch Vlodd tomorrow. Vlodd, why did you stop sending in your PMs?? I had marked off two others as possibly being lucy, because she stopped insanifying people like Day 3.

For my band member search I sent in LT day 1, but I guess DH beat me to it. Very nice hinting with the poll vote LT But it's alright, the song choice that night gave me another search, and out of sheer luck I found SVS. It was fortunate we all found eachother early, everyone probably knew who all of us were since we didn't suspect eachother, but it was nice crossing off three ppl from my baddie list.

I was really dense with the Kate suspicion, SVS was like "Kevie I really think she is Mr. Kite, she left a HUGE role hint on day 1" - it was after she died and you said you voted Mr. Kite last night that it clicked

So chaindeath very nice game, you had us fooled for a very long time. How did you get a second lynch switch?

I got my first off of a song, and the second was my teacher ability. I might have been able to pull this off if I had sent in my pm... lesson learned, Text messages don't work, I would have killed conor and we could have killed vlod together

It's funny, i really, really thought kate was bad for a while there. I did search her for a Beatle day one, but then she seemed to think i was bad, so I then thought she was bad, and thought so when i gained BTS with BF, and when we sent our message.

Then some stuff she said made me reread, and I noticed she picked Mr Kite. That is a marginally obscure song (for the Beatles) and Kate is a top 40 kind of gal, so I realized it was a huge role hint. I am glad the Beatles saw that my initial thought was wrong, and trusted her.

I was George, BTW. He's my <3 Beatle, so that made me happy

Oh! That reminds me, for that poll, all of the circus acts reflected each player's name. My typos were intentional. The only one that did not fit that was Kate, who was the bearded lady because as a player she is female but her role was male. It was completely unintentional that the clown car was a silly person, it never crossed my mind. It was actually "theclowncar" three words run into one just as "insertnamehere" is also.

Awwww, I totally found a baddie on Day 1 and he lasted almost the whole game! I really wanted to be rezzed since I couldn't have really been easily killed again as an outed civvie being unable to be targeted by the baddies at night. But I guess the rezzer had a different idea in mind.

Thanks for the fun game while it only lasted a short while music themed mafia games are a personal favorite of mine , coupled with the fact it was Beatles related made this game a total win. Thanks Daisy for putting it together <3

Also, to answer the question of how Chaindeath survived two lynches. The first song chosen was With A Little Help From My Friends. the result of that song was that no one with BTSC could be lynched. Every failedlynch was treated exactly as it would have been were it Henry being lynched, in order to keep it from being too obvious. I did not expect that song would be chosen so early in the game. I figured it would benefit either the baddies or the band, but the band had not had a chance to find each other at that point so it meant that for the first day you were guaranteed to lynch a civ.
