also just looked in your iso and you actually haven't acknowledged 112 once even though they've had lots of posts and attention so basically you're officially w/w now congratulations
I've been reading and avoiding posting until I finished catching up, bc sleepy and not feeling chatty tbh. but this one stuck out enough to need to reply in the moment.
I'm pretty sure I've literally never seen this post from a scum. I catch it a lot, but it's never from scum.Spiny Creature wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:26 am @Evenstar
so far you are an easy townread to me (actually the easiest), which makes me nervous only because I don't think you are easy to read in general. and in finals when you were town you were a townread, yes, but not an easy or pure one, just like a "I think eva is always like this and it's not scummy" one.
that said, the effortlessness of your savage-tone posting, and the fact that your conversation with Drogo, while meaningless shitposting, actually led you to have a read on him by the end, feels like v easytown to me.
should I be nervous about this read y or y not? :P
has courage of her convictionsSpiny Creature wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:45 pmgone thru mentions. I switch between caps / no caps and punctuation / no punctuation a lot, it is indeed NAI for me. ig it is the difference between shitposting register and longer-sentences register, but it doesn't mean I thought about the punctuated sentences more; I don't edit any of my posts as any alignment unless they're very long and making a complicated case.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 8:32 amThis one? This is what it was? Of all the posts you latched on to this? I mean I quoted the point I liked from iaafr and it was about Mac. And then he challenged me to a duel and I liked that too. So not all of the meaningful posts/interactions are about 112.Spiny Creature wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:14 am
how do you have a strong favorite read of iaafr but "who dat" 112 when all of iaafr's meaningful posts/interactions were with 112 lol this read fake
I've been reading and avoiding posting until I finished catching up, bc sleepy and not feeling chatty tbh. but this one stuck out enough to need to reply in the moment.
I’m not generally one for individual post construction, but it’s ... interesting ... (someone kill me) that the first half has no punctuation and the latter half does. That shows different curator styles, or that both parts were written separately, or its a player thing I don’t understand because I’ve never played with spiny creature before. Slight lean scum though for the first possibility: in a normal world town would never make such a mentality shift from one half to another, but there are conceivable reasons. The second and third possibilities are NAI.
and as for the first paragraph: yeah it was weird. I stand by that. missing all of the 112/iaafr pocket-not-pocket conversation means you skimmed the thread, so even if it's true you missed forming an impression on iaafr it was weird to me to then have 10 different reads if you hadn't read a great deal.
this is a good thoughtSpiny Creature wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 7:03 pm*narrows eyes*
I wasn't gonna make too much of it when it was just a throwaway thought from you, but when it's repeated with the exact same wording ("directly confronting me") 12 hours later, that feels like a static read. and maybe forced.
me in one post: "I'm still catching up and wasn't feeling like replying while still reading, but I do want to reply to this one specific thing from Tony"
me in the very next post: "now that i'm posting i might as well post the loose vibes I have on about 5 people so far, including a vague half-remembered read on Hyena, but these are not replies just memories"
like... dude, the lack of direct reply to you is explained. also "directly confront" as if my read on you wasn't as weaksauce as "I think I remember X scummy thing about Hyena, but not sure, will finish catchup first".
tunneling me for not replying directly to you, when I hadn't replied directly to ANYONE IN THE GAME except for Tony, and then repeating the same wording to explain the scumread 12 hours later, just feels insincere to me.
spiny is right that she's never townread pawn and that Hyena's behaviour is sus as hellSpiny Creature wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 7:27 pm not gonna quote that whole thing @Hyena but i only specifically object to the last one
"more fencesitting :P"
no. i just straight up, by no stretch of the imagination, ever townread Pawn. I said to him "hey I haven't seen any of your posts because I left before you, here is a question for you". that is 110% of our interactions at the point where you said I was calling him town.
you can't just manufacture a nonexistent townread on Pawn and then call me "fencesitting" lol
point out where specifically you got the impression I was townreading him with a quote please?
honestly could go back there rn if not for urgent breakfast spreads
I do agree that the first couple posts have a villager's tone and mindset. The latter quotes are okay, but easily fakeable imo.

I think the biggest takeaway from the Eva/Nute dichotomy is that Jack is probably town. This is good, as I was ready to scumread him for a lacklustre opening to the game. But his angle on Eva/Nute seems way too much effort for a scum to take on a fight that, one presumes, involves one or two town.
Welcome to my town, Jack.

Because if so consider this.
If I exhibited TMI on Dragomir, am I right that the others did too? Or did I see a bunch of people town reading a townie and decide to try to accuse them all to stop them from getting their townie way? Or is it a mix?
Or did I just get wigged out by the fact that a bunch of people were town reading someone who I thought didn't deserve a town read?
Like I implied, I don't want to get too far with tin-foil like that because it's just as often that villagers say "TMI" type things.

(2) You missed the part where four or five players criticised my Jack read, and I gave a 'lmao wow you guys hate that' post followed by the above quoted post. I see why you guys need a 'sarcasm' button on this board I guess.
Your read is bad and you should feel bad.
(b) I don't care, it was suspicious.

I have to admit: TSPs nonchalant and unconcerned approach to the scumreads/votes against him look good and make me feel less confident.

Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 1]
I probably had some part in starting the 112 wagon but I'm not even sure if I want to lynch them D1 here. I can't do that to my best pal.

Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 1]
Is Drago the type to start slanking when he's wolf and getting called out? Because he's been gone a long time after a fairly active start.

Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 1]
Wait, why did you completely drop the suspicion? I mean, his responses were okay, but it didn't seem like anything that should completely rectify his wolfy thread presence.juliets wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 12:15 pmI just dropped my suspicion of Tony so that's no longer in play.Texas Cloverleaf wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 12:04 pm @juliets people seem to think you're more likely town, who's your top two suspects if I were to take a look at someone specifically
I am concerned about novaselinever and Rej at this point but there is not much to go on. I'm also concerned about Nanook but that may also be because he hasn't had a lot to say from what I remember. I don't understand why he (or Eva) followed LLD's vote. LLD led him astray from what I remember in the champs finale and this reminds me of that. I will take a look at him shortly.
Wrt Nanook: I'm concerned about his over-emphasis that he isn't going to "play" early on because of the high player count. He keeps restating that fact; all the while he's in the thread and interacting ALL the time anyways, so it isn't even accurate.

Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 1]
I think TSP is wolfy because he's playing a very safe and quiet game. He hasn't said or done anything controversial, and that's how a lot of wolves play. I do get that that may be his meta but I can't move past it right now. I also hated how there was no follow up with his vote on you. It's like he never had an actual read he was trying to solve.juliets wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 12:36 pmBenson I just did a long post about Tony's responses to my accusations. The things I pointed out he had a good response for, most of them were things he pointed out were jokes and as I looked at them again I could see that they probably were. Maybe there are other reasons I should consider him that weren't in my ISO that others brought out. Why do you see him as wolfy?Benson wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 12:27 pmWait, why did you completely drop the suspicion? Also, I need to go to my appointment in a few minutes and I won't be back until around 4:00 ugh, two hours from EOD. I dread it.
Also also, I just read through 112 again and I don't see me voting for her day 1. I will try to look at Nanook in the next few minutes.
I realize I'm in a tunnel and I'm gonna move on for now because my case isn't substantial enough atm
