Bingo. If I die then you know I’m a civ and if I come back, that’s good. I think nutella is town from this fwiw. Total shades of Easter talking herself into every possible combination of goodness and badness in everything.nutella wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 12:14 amWell he could be town wanting to get confirmed, but as Quin pointed out, why? He's barely even been suspected at all until now -- and what's more, he had just pointed out his fear that rezzes were either gone or in the wrong hands. If he's town he can't count on a rez, by his own admission. He can only rely on a rez if he's bad and knows his team has one. Whether he has some way to appear civ upon flip, or whether his team will rez him as a confirmed baddie, I can't say, but there doesn't really seem to be a town explanation.

I feel for timmer here. I just come into threads and don’t think about what I’m saying because I’m not hiding anything and then a buncha cosmic brain theories come out about me being Keyser Soze. Every game. This post will probably get it too. Timmer town.timmer wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 1:51 amI apologize. People are doing their best. But this happens every time I tryto play, and it insanely frustrating to write honest thoughts and have my natural wording style get me lynched. I can't defend against it. But yeah its no one's fault.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 1:38 amIf you are a member of the mafia team and you just typed this into our beautiful game thread, then you deserve to be modkilled. It's not ideal from a civilian either, as you've shamed people who are merely trying their best and threatened "I'm prob done for good". That's not cool. I understand though that on the civilian side, it can be more difficult to shed that emotion in a heated moment.timmer wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 12:39 am Guys, I always write the way I write in this game. I don't like to push ideas if I'm unsure of them, so I always make clear that I'm unsure. It's how ive always posted in mafia. So if you are going to lynch me for it, honestly I'm prob done for good. This is the very reason ive gone such long stretches without playing, this happens every fucking time.
I am inclined to view this as civilian frustration expressed in an unfortunate manner. I will vote elsewhere.

Not to mention you drew a comparison to Easter in which you were super evil. Idk if this is any kind of reliable tell but I feel like players are subconsciously or not more likely to be thinking about games in which their alignment matched the current one.

So 3 possible scenarios as I see them:
1. LC started with a Hallow, NAI, but does an LC with a Hallow make a big fuckin stink about trying to get more?
2. LC Did not start with a Hallow, but gained one through killing. Bad
3. LC's lynch stop was not the result of a Hallow. Bad.

Re: Hogwarts Mafia - Night 3
I don’t know if I have ever played with scum Jay. I was sketchy on him early game and I always am hesitant to trust town leaders but I feel good about him right now.speedchuck wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 11:12 am I'm going to read over what I just posted and come to a conclusion after taking a break. JJJ posts a lot. I'd like some other opinions as well. Most of what I posted was just facts, and my few opinions are clearly shown as such.
As of right now, I could absolutely see JJJ as scum. I could see him as scum with Nutella. And I could see him as town. There were hints of all these possibilities in that readthrough. I need to look at motive and figure out which is most likely.
Preferably, before night ends.

We have no actual confirmation that horcruxes even exist in this game thoughDharmaHelper wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 12:03 pmThe idea that Long Con survived due to having a Hallow assumes too much and takes too many liberties. The idea that he survived because he's bad and had a Horcrux assumes much less and takes almost no liberties.speedchuck wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 11:53 amI've already been mislynched once for defending a scum Long Con even after he scumslipped. I'm guessing you want to make it two?DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 11:38 am "Actually guys theres a 3/5 chance Long Con is good so lets like not lynch him please we already lost two of our teammates lol please omg stahp"
If you'd like to actually engage me instead of pooping on my posts without any substance to what you're saying then I'd be happy to debate it with you.

Re: Hogwarts Mafia - Night 3
My read was that you are bad. I think you know that and you may have even commented on it in a similarly defensive fashion.Lunalee wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 1:49 pmIt was obvious. You bookmarked me for a scum read later based on what I said. I was just wondering if you had anything to add to that. like what was your read on me before this post? Bonus points if you want to call out anyone else who might be bad if LongCon flips bad.

I think you over-estimate what a scum team does when it’s a few members down and the sharks are circling.nutella wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 1:26 pmRealLunalee wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 1:22 pmI asked what you thought, Colin. I also had a negative reaction to your initial post, like you were reluctantly realizing everyone believes LC is bad and you decided you had to change your tune, but would a teammate really be the last to turn on him in this situation? Nah. The teammate is the one who calls out that person and makes it sound like that person is obvbad to set up a mislynch. Colin looks awful here.

Almost getting some TMI vibes from this convo though as if Luna and/or nut know LC’s alignment already.

Re: Hogwarts Mafia - Night 3
I have mapped out every possible circumstance for how the scum team acts or doesn’t act based on who flips and when. Surprisingly about 45% of these scenarios end with Epignosis mailing me a check for 10 grand
