Pawn has dealt with you and I very differently.
Why do you think that is?
Also, I'm very tired and still have to finish my grades. I do not know why Pawn has treated me different from you or if he even has.

I’ve heard one reason for me being suspected today and it’s that Epi doesn’t think I have original thoughts, which is a damn silly thing to say as everyone else is complaining that my reads are too counter to the consensus.

Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 3]
I am at work, and unable to post much. I have meeting coming up soon (that includes a 50-slide Power Point about how to have a meeting
), but...
First, the qualifiers indicate someone who knows what he is saying is rubbish. "Basically assuming" is equivocal language. "As I read into the kill more and more" is a vague way to make it sound as though this perspective bears credibility. It doesn't. This is an attempt to appear analytical. The little lecture that precedes the accusation rings hollow.
Second, Pawn, who knows nothing about me and has no prior experience with me, suggests that he can correctly peg me specifically as killing Nanook. Nonsense. In fact, if you remember, Nanook was among my top suspects coming into Day 2. From my perspective, the incessant posts begging for credit for lynching Dragomir looked too on the nose. If I were mafia, I would have been confident I could have gathered support for a Nanook lynch. No- Nanook would not have been in my top ten choices for a kill.
Third, the accusation is empty. Any victim could be a "methodical" choice for the Night kill. What makes the Nanook kill specifically a methodical choice (as opposed to, say, an Evenstar kill or a Pawn kill)? The accusation is based on multiple assumptions that don't even support it.
Fourth, the basis for this accusation against me is at present non-falsifiable. "If I'm right this is a kill that came at it from a methodical view" is nothing that can be proved or disproved until endgame.
This is rubbish.![Eye :eye:](./images/smilies/Eye.png)

...this is rubbish. Absolute rubbish.Pawn Lelouch wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 4:34 amYes, but Nook was relatively low impact in the thread so he probably wouldn't make much progress and might even be convinced to change his mind. Better to go for the guarantee rather than a gamble.
Because it's good town play to look back at those who died to try and divine the intent as to why they died. Since there is always a discernible reason behind a scum nightkill. The trick is actually figuring it out. Plus remembering the reads of one of 14 other players is far easier than that of 29 other players. Especially since scum could potentially just point it out themselves in thread as a reason why Nook could have been a silencing kill. So there's a fair chance that town would easily remember the reads or scum would just state it themselves.
I'm basically assuming that Epi is scum based off this as I read into the kill more and more. If I'm right this is a kill that came at it from a methodical view, which fits my mental image of Epi's style and even is something he has stated in previous days.

I could be wrong and Dom could just have piled onto his scumleader's case without really thinking about it, but... Frankly, I think Dom actually does think through his actions better than that. Plus, he's been acting weirdly buddyish at Epi, which is additional evidence they're not w/w.

I don't think iaafr is mafia, and as much as I despise that he didn't vote Day 1 and the purported reason why he didn't vote, I am having trouble sensing a mafia agenda this Day. If iaafr is mafia, then it will be the first time I've witnessed someone be mafia like that. I'm willing to play the odds and leave him alone.

I'm sure I read whatever it was Mac asked and you answered, but no way I remember it.

Dom - Here
Epignosis - Here
Evenstar - Probably not lynched
iaafr - Here
Jackofhearts2005 - Here
Master Radishes - Probably not lynched
Pawn Lelouch - Could have been lynched
sprityo - Could have been lynched
So final level is at least one of Eve, Radishes and probably two of Colin, Pawn, Sprityo and probably just one or two wolvesin the whole grouping.
Why are you so sure of how this works?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 8:42 pm I’m obviously town but I have 3 lives so suspect me all you want.![]()
The entire point of inception is a group of people (let’s call them “the mafia”) go into a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream and change Killian Murphy’s mind. Meanwhile, someone is left at every level to “kick” the rest of the team, waking them up at the correct time.
D1, we lynched Drago and it said he woke up and he flipped. For those of us who recently watched the movie, this would be the “rainy van chase dream level.”
D2 we descended to a new dream level. Let’s call it “the hotel dream level.” We lynched presumably Nova and the mafia nightkilled presumably Nanook but they didn’t flip. They were “kicked.” I assume (and Colin said the same early yesterday) this means they were kicked awake back to the first dream level, back to the original thread.
D3 we descended to dream level 3 which we can call “the artic base dream level,” again leaving players behind. We seemingly lynched Colin or Pawn (I missed this bit, which might be why my chart is confusing) and the other was nightkilled. Again, they were described as “kicked,” not “woken up” and in theory have now woken up in the 2nd/hotel dream level.
D4, we have not changed threads. We’re still at the artic base while several players disappeared. It is very likely they went to “limbo” the final dream level.
Now. There is a wolf in limbo. The mafia’s goal (at least in the movie) is to send someone to limbo and do a thing. And there’s probably a wolf here based on us having a lynch (except I have since realized there is a no lynch option so there’s a chance to have no wolves here I guess.
So my chart was an attempt to figure out who might have gone to limbo and who didn’t because there’s at least one wolf in limbo. But we actually know it’s Eva, Radishes, Sprityo.
So that’s what I was trying to say and that’s why I think I have 3 lives. I think we all do. Death sends us from the artic to the hotel, again from the hotel to the rainy chase scene and once more to wake up and flip, leaving the game.

Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 4]
His role says so?
That's the why.
If you mean "Why do I think that," then it would be more difficult to explain. I think Dom and I have both matured in ways the two of us can appreciate, and I think we have more in common than either of us would admit. I simply see that coming to fruition in Mafia. I think Dom and I think similarly- we just reach different conclusions (see how he and I still had different opinions of you and Radishes, for instance, even though we agreed quite a bit about things).
Dom does not feel manipulative.
That said, nobody needs to be manipulative if Jack is right about the setup.
