Most people are vanilla and just don’t feel confident on anything. I don’t know how these “latent” powers work. But maybe people are gunshy and readshy on account of waiting for something to happen.
Well, yeah, but nothing is going to happen unless you just push and make things happen and start with what you got. But you all know that, I'm just being a bit pushy and impatient and stuff. (Also, my favorite role is vanilla, and my favorite games are all vanilla or low powered games. Mafia is a game that is solvable also without any powers. *preaching*)
I’m with you. Whenever I play ultimate werewolf or Avalon IRL, I crave vanilla as often as possible so I can get a better read on others.

For some reason with online mafia, I like having a power of some sort. Makes me feel useful. I often feel useless on this site as vanilla because often times, being in the dark is its own kind of fuck you when other people can manipulate the game.

Kinda hypocritical of me, but it probably has to do with timing. If I’m gonna sit down and do reads for n hour, I want to feel like it’s a fair game and I’m getting things right. It’s just easier to solve the game when you are a power role. In a fast game IRL, games are over in 30 minutes or less and the downtime doesn’t make me lose steam
A vanilla civilian role is a gift. Play your heart out and dare the mafia to kill you. That's your job- cannon fodder.

On Day 1, a civilian usually gets lynched. Oh well, it sucks, but we move forward. If the game maintains its pace, we'll be fine. The civilians are winning right now.
What is a hot potato? I'm hungry.

Also, town is winning, obivously, cause town is awesome. BUT, I want to stress that if all town does not start getting involved for real we're not going anywhere. There are five mafia members, and we do need coordination and a sense of urgency. Just a mantra I have.
The post from Quin says that there are 4 mafia, did I miss something?
And the Golden character seems to be a town aligned 3p unless he counts as nontown for numbers?
Maybe he learns to love over the course of the series or something but as of Epi 1, the yellow guy wants to destroy the whole planet and has already destroyed most of the moon. I’d bet on him as bad.

To put it succinctly, I believe he is doing less than it appears he is doing on the surface. His suspicions of you and lapluie didn't really develop, in particular the latter during the EOD sequence when lapluie had quite a bit to say. His civilian reads on INH and LC exist without substance, which gives me the concern that these reads are there to look the part rather than to be the part.

I am not here to go over juliet's posts and lapluie's posts when I'm six pages behind, cooking, and gambling. This is an unreasonable thing to suspect me for.

What drives me bananas is that JJJ calls me a "tinfoil suspect."

Nah.

Any sane person would have just called me a suspect and made a case. This guy is trying to move shit on to me, someone he HAS to know can't be on all the time because of work, and make a kill elsewhere. This is trash.

Lynch JJJ and save yourselves some trouble. If he was good, he'd have sense enough to see I can't be here at work because most pages are blocked (he knew that beforehand), and catching up on six pages while cooking and gambling is no joke.

I also don't believe his Long Con vote was a good civilian vote. He voted for LC because LC voted Marmot for something something no reason? Fuck outta here.

For me to know a thing about how your cooking needs affect your play in this game requires that I be your family dog.

If you are a civilian, you have got to stop hounding people the minute they accuse you. You seriously do this shit a lot, and it throws off your shit significantly. Civilians suspect you frequently, so get that into your head. I know you're going to balk at this, but I absolutely don't care. Please remember it whenever you discover my alignment in this game. Hell, even if you're mafia this is still something I've noticed from your civilian play, so think about it.

I translated it correctly with my rudimentary knowledge of Spanish from high school classes. I just thought you meant that you don't have time to post in that environment because students and other responsibilities keep you busy.
If it isn't that, it's that the school blocks certain pages from the site. I literally can't access from work.

So when I get home, I bathe, cook, eat, do sports stuff (which really doesn't take as much time as you think it does), and try to keep up on the six-seven pages I've missed while you were in here talking it up.

Feels like you're just throwing a vote on a low-hanging fruit and not really hunting.
nova just got my vote. sprityo gave a specific reason for his vote, and nova painted it as "just throwing a vote," established that Pennywise is "low-hanging fruit" without backing up that claim, and, despite saying sprityo is "not really hunting," has no qualms about anybody else who could fall into that category.

Does it invalidate the accusation of not really hunting when one doesn't equally accuse each and every other player that might fall under the same category? Sorry, nothing to offer your suspicion at this time, it's simplistic and could easily describe civilian Behavior if you used different language to say the same thing, such as the word "painted".
What was the purpose of nova's post? It wasn't an accusation of sprityo being mafia. It wasn't a defense of Pennywise being a civilian.

It's prefaced with a hedge ("Feels like"), is mollified with an empty adverb ("just"), uses a trite phrase that says nothing of Pennywise's alignment ("low-hanging fruit"), and concludes with criticism that cannot be measured against a standard ("not really hunting"), which- if the hallmark of "really hunting" is nova's own work- makes sprityo is Der jägerMeister.

His specific reason was weak. It was awkward af, and he just jumped on the wagon that McDougall started. I interpreted Mac's vote as a pressure's vote and someone wanting to here from a player that hasn't really said anything and trying to get some interactions going. I didn't interpret Spirityo's vote the same way. His mention of Pennywise being a veteran player and making it to end games was bullshit. How is that a justification for a vote ?

About Pennywise, he is a low-hanging fruit. He was inactive, he doesn't really have any content and interaction to analyze and get a read on him from them. He is new.

At that time, I had not had qualms about anybody's vote. JJJ's vote was understandable since he ISOed Avito and has been uneasy with him. The other voter was Avito himself, and I called him out on it. He's still on me since D1 without justifications, and it's something we do on another forum when messing around. Told him to stop messing around and make a case if he thinks I'm bad.

He is, though. And you're the straw man.

You're reason for pushing me are horseshit tbh tbf. Just because I haven't had time to call out everybody that may or may not fall under the same category as spirityo's doesn't make my remarks on spirityo null. I see something, I call it out. I also explained why the others vote didn't ping me the same as his.
You don't fully grasp my issue with you, but I can live with that for now.

Re: Assassination Classroom [NIGHT 2]

My problem with JJJ is threefold:

1) He jumped on LC for no reason Day 1 even after I said I thought LC was good.

2) He voted for a quiet player who turned out to be good.

3) He himself is now cool with a quiet thread.
