Evenstar: I stand by what I wrote about her yesterday, and still don't quite understand what the disagreement is with my calling her a civilian. I realize she got frustrating during the back half of Day 2 (for me) because she was calling for my head over Godfather nonsense, but at no point did I feel inclined to question if she believed what she was spouting off. Her view was fair even though I 100% disagree with it (and 101% disagree with giving it so much credence). However, I believe she believed it, which is all that matters to me. Still, let's please not do that again. I do appreciate her regaining sense later on in the phase, so thank you for that.

Pawn Lelouch: Again, I stand by what I said about Mr. Front-Line Fodder. The Day 2 stuff largely had me nodding my head.

Master Radishes: My fellow academic was not afraid to get saucy with me early on Day 2. After engaging me and having at least a little bit of discussion I feel like I understand his mindset better and I think he understands mine. I felt like it was a productive Day 2 on that front with regard to my view on the Root Maestro. Civilian lock? Hardly. Civilian lock given the circumstances?

Yeah. Janitors pretty commonly work on lynches, otherwise their utility would be severely hampered. Clearing info from cops + gunsmiths are nice and all, but lynches are where the actual main use of the ability lies imo.

And I thought it was a guaranteed janitor since I saw it was boo, but was too busy finishing up my service learning for the day to look at the actual text closely and see that it strongly hinted mason before it was deleted. So I just saw redacted and kinda auto assumed janitor throughout the night since I believe it was one of the listed possible roles at the beginning and it fits with the info removal.

At first I didn't understand your meaning, and perhaps it is true I still don't, but I think "[REDACTED]" simply is the hosts' way of saying that information is not going to be made public. In other words, boo gets the knowledge, but everyone else does not. It is up to us to look at Spiny's and boo's posts to determine who "[REDACTED] is."

Here was my summary of you:

There are a few positives up in here for iaafr. Despite the strong claim that Dragomir was a civilian, iaafr peeled himself away from that, commenting on Dragomir’s exchange with Evenstar. I’d like to think iaafr keeping the light on Dragomir was instrumental in getting him lynched. I also don’t mind that iaafr didn’t let the thread stagnate as the deadline loomed (not that it needed his help to avoid stagnation, but it’s nice to see).

However, there are certainly some things he’s going to have to answer for. The lynch poll is the primary means by which civilians win. No one had any justifiable reason to abstain from the vote but boo. That stinks. I also invite others to look at iaafr’s apparent change in attitude regarding Dragomir, going from civilian to bad and ultimately not voting him at a critical juncture (two minutes until the end of the poll).

That latter issue is a big one for me. Civilians who don't vote are useless civilians. They fail to lynch mafia and fail to give other civilians a means of understanding them. That's a double whammy. That's why, in this particular scenario, you make my list.

I have hosted here on this site more than anyone, and as you can see here, I have managed a long-term reputation of good balance.

If there is anyone I trust to create something balanced and fair, it is JJJ and Sloonei. I believe they are fair.

I say all this to get you and those like you to calm down. Assess the challenge before you and do the best you can. Stop acting like it's the end of the world that you can't see someone's role or the other thread.

This is very different, I'll grant, but we do different on The Syndicate sometimes. Do your best regardless.

This means absolutely nothing to me. If you are mafia, you know who is bad. Dragomir's play was pretty lousy all around, and you saying he would get lynched doesn't mean shit. You don't win by guessing who would get lynched.

He is heavily overemphasizing the lack of a vote on D1. Yeah, it wasn't ideal that you didn't put one on Drago to clinch it but unvoting 112 is still a push towards that, and notably one you had been hinting at for a damn good while. I even called you out on it when you said "completely unexpected betrayal" with everyone expected it, since you had been doing blatant hinting.

And even with that initial waver, everything else within the game has been pure town you. Since the beginning of D1.

And yeah, Epi hasn't seen a fair bit of your playstyle for some context, but it's not a overall scummy set of posts even without that. So I do think that the overemphasis that he's been placing is a fair bit too much.

And while I'm enjoying the game I do consider it bastard and somewhat disorienting. I agree with you on that and think Epi not considering it as such is a case of just trying to defend his friends over the truth. Since if this isn't considered bastard over here, I do hate to see what would be considered as such.
