That problem doesn't exist when replacements exist though. We could get a Sloonei in here.
It still exists—that slot will have a day less to read them on than anyone else, and replacing into a vacant scum slot is actually a bit of an advantage

Look at G8 in MU Champs last year if you want an example. Nanook and I were scum and both of our partners ended up getting replaced, which delayed people's reads on them. :P

Also, I'm getting the vibe that Speedchuck and Nutella are NOT mafia together in spite of both of them being against going for lurkers. If Poison, or their slot, ever flip mafia though, I'd feel inclined to call one of them scum.

Yeah, I noticed the lack of game relevant posts, too. I think the main thing that had kept me from joining his wagon in the last 12-24 hours was that Long Con was on the wagon. I like him more now though, and MR has been continuing to settle into town territory in my head.

I might try to start a wagon on a lurker though (Poison in this case since Nanook seems open to them), just to see what happens.

I never really know what will happen when I make votes like that. What I hope for though is chatter, banter, and all sorts of other reactions. I didn't vote for Poison to get a read on Poison. I voted them to get a read on other people. I wanted to see what they'd do, what they'd say, etc. It's pretty much why I like tying wagons so much, too. I already talked about some of what I gained out of it, namely the 'never more than one scum in {nutella, MR, Speedchuck}' read that no one seemed to comment on.

So, like, Nanook doesn't have any issues with finding reasons to call town scum. If you want, look at Game 8 of MU Champs last year near EoD1. Nanook and I both succeeded in convincing town to vote out a cop. :3

No, nothing has happened to further my suspicion. It hasn't gotten any better either though. It's remained static throughout D1. The reason why I'm still considering 112 as an option is because I feel like I was able to read her town in the Inception game. Thus, it's not like I can't find her as town when she is town. She's just not showing she's town right now.

I'm paying attention to you Hyena and I agree with your town core. What I'm turning over with regards to your reads is your 112 read. MR I think has played with her most often and is reading her as town which I respect. What do you think of his read and how do you reconcile it with your own read?

Yeah, that was a bit unfair to you, Juliets. I know you've been paying attention. <3 As for MR's read on 112, he himself admitted that he didn't catch 112 in the game that she's reminding me of until very late. If anything, that makes me feel more paranoid that MR could be wrong here.

Just a forewarning, I'm always going to protect my towncore, which means right now, my vote will probably land on either MP7 or Nanook to break the tie between the four main wagons.

So, Juliets feels EXACTLY like how they did in the Inception game we played together a couple months ago. I was right about them that game, and I feel right about them again this game. As for you, I haven't really tried reading you, even after your latest interactions with Nutella. Even in our interactions, I didn't really feel anything strongly. Thus, you're kinda in the same category as Nanook for me -- not in my townreads, but don't want to lynch right now. Does that make any sense?

If not 112, then probably Tony. Him joining the Sig wagon after it started growing kinda sealed the deal for me. He also placed a vote for Speedchuck earlier that I didn't like, and when I asked him about it, he gave me a pretty meh response (Tony: "He's felt disengenuous to me"). On top of that, I don't feel like he tried to do anything during the first half of D1. In the second half, I completely lost track of him. He doesn't have any kind of thread presence from my perspective.

MR is an ok candidate whom I'm not sure of either way but gave a townlean to for reasons that may or may not hold up to my own scrutiny tomorrow
I'm sort of taking meta into consideration for DDL and I could see the exhaustion thing easily coming from town DDL, and I liked some of his fire in my gut, but I also see where you're coming from so I'm given a bit of pause.

What makes you think that about LC?
He's perimeter in a way to me- seems more involved than he really is imo

I'll relent that he has faded into the background ever since he placed that vote on Nanook. Both Nanook and I were voting for him for the longest time.

If not 112, then probably Tony. Him joining the Sig wagon after it started growing kinda sealed the deal for me. He also placed a vote for Speedchuck earlier that I didn't like, and when I asked him about it, he gave me a pretty meh response (Tony: "He's felt disengenuous to me"). On top of that, I don't feel like he tried to do anything during the first half of D1. In the second half, I completely lost track of him. He doesn't have any kind of thread presence from my perspective.

What? I tried pressuring him. He was just really uncooperative when I tried working with him. It felt like I was pulling teeth trying to get info out of him. I think I even mentioned this somewhere in the thread.
